Abstract
This study aims to study the influences of work environment and organizational culture on employee performance as mediated by achievement motivation. The population consists of all 64 permanent employees at the Personnel and Organization Bureau, utilizing non-probability sampling technique with a saturated sample. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 3.2.9 software for Windows. The results found that the work environment directly has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and achievement motivation; achievement motivation directly has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; organizational culture directly has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance; organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on achievement motivation; the work environment mediated by achievement motivation has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance; organizational culture mediated by achievement motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. It is recommended that organizational leaders create a conducive office atmosphere for employees’ work environment and foster harmonious working relationships among the employees. Keywords: Work Environment, Organizational Culture, Employee Performance, Achievement Motivation Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja melalui mediasi motivasi berprestasi. Populasi seluruh pegawai tetap Biro Kepegawaian dan Organisasi sejumlah 64 pegawai, teknik pengambilan data non-probability sampling dengan jenis sampel jenuh. Analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dengan SmartPLS 3.2.9. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa lingkungan kerja secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dan motivasi berprestasi; motivasi berprestasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai; budaya organisasi secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai; budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi berprestasi; lingkungan kerja dengan mediasi motivasi berprestasi berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai; budaya organisasi yang dimediasi motivasi berprestasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, disarankan Pimpinan organisasi dapat memberikan suasana kantor kondusif terhadap lingkungan kerja pegawai dan untuk menciptakan hubungan kerja harmonis antar pegawai.
