Abstract

As a state-owned enterprise, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk faces a problem where many employees' performances are declining from the work target set in the previous year, and it has yet to be achieved for the past four years. This research aims to examine and analyze the Influences of Training and Competence on the Employee Performance of the Asset Management Center Division of the state-owned enterprise, as mediated by Employee Motivation. This research is a quantitative research with a causal design. The population in this study are 102 staffs from the Asset Management Center (AMC) of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, used a saturated sample technique. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS Version 4.0 software for Windows. The results of this study state that training and competence positively and significantly influence both motivation and employee performance. Furthermore, training, competence, and achievement motivation positively and significantly influence employee performance. The findings also reveal that achievement motivation mediates the influences of training and competence on employee performance. Keywords: Employee Performance, Training, Competence, Motivation Sebagai Badan Usaha Milik Negara, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk menghadapi permasalahan dimana banyak kinerja karyawan yang menurun dari target kerja yang ditetapkan pada tahun sebelumnya, dan belum tercapai selama empat tahun terakhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis Pengaruh Pelatihan dan Kompetensi Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Divisi Asset Management Center BUMN yang dimediasi oleh Motivasi Berprestasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain kausal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan Asset Management Center (AMC) PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk yang berjumlah 102 orang, dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Data dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SEM-PLS Versi 4.0 untuk Windows. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa pelatihan dan kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi maupun kinerja karyawan. Selanjutnya pelatihan, kompetensi, dan motivasi berprestasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Temuan juga mengungkapkan bahwa motivasi berprestasi memediasi pengaruh pelatihan dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kata Kunci: Kinerja Karyawan, Pelatihan, Kompetensi, Motivasi Berprestasi
