Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah yang timbul akibat sistem absensi kepegawaian manual di PT Trans Food & Beverage, seperti kesalahan penginputan data dan ketidakdisiplinan karyawan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penelitian ini mengusulkan penggunaan sistem aplikasi absensi karyawan berbasis mobile yang menggunakan QR scanner untuk absensi dan mendeteksi lokasi karyawan dengan lokasi tempat kerja. Selain itu, aplikasi ini menyediakan fitur shift kerja, pembaruan lokasi dengan maps, dan riwayat absensi. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan algoritma haversine untuk mengukur jarak antara lokasi karyawan dan tempat kerja. Algoritma Haversine merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk menghitung jarak di antara titik-titik yang ada pada permukaan bumi berdasarkan koordinat latitude dan longitude. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, di mana interaksi dan penggunaan sistem aplikasi absensi oleh karyawan PT Trans Food & Beverage di tempat kerja diamati secara langsung. Data dianalisis melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 162 responden karyawan di head office, dengan menggunakan skala penilaian 1 hingga 5 yang mencakup tingkat kepuasan dari tidak puas hingga sangat puas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa responden memberikan persepsi yang positif terhadap aplikasi absensi ini, dengan tingkat rata-rata kepuasan karyawan yang relatif tinggi, yaitu 4,9. Kata Kunci : Sistem absensi, QR scanner, algoritma haversine, koordinat, quisioner. This research aims to address the issues arising from the manual employee attendance system at PT Trans Food & Beverage, including data input errors and employee discipline problems. To overcome these issues, this study proposes the utilization of a mobile-based employee attendance application system that utilizes QR scanner for attendance and detects the employee's location in relation to the workplace. Additionally, the application provides features such as shift scheduling, location updates via maps, and attendance history. The research employs the Haversine algorithm to measure the distance between the employee's location and the workplace. The Haversine algorithm is a method used to calculate distances between points on the Earth's surface based on latitude and longitude coordinates. The sampling technique utilized in this research is observation, where the interaction and usage of the attendance application system by employees at PT Trans Food & Beverage are directly observed in the workplace. Data analysis is conducted through a questionnaire distributed to 162 employee respondents at the head office, utilizing a rating scale from 1 to 5 that encompasses satisfaction levels from dissatisfied to highly satisfied. The analysis results indicate that respondents have a positive perception of the attendance application, with a relatively high average employee satisfaction rating of 4.9.
