Abstract

Pengembangan pada sistem informasi dilakukan agar sistem semakin baik performanya dan semakin sesuai dengan keinginan pengguna. Pada penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat mendiagnosa penyakit gigi dan mulut. Pengguna dapat memasukan data berupa gejala gejala yang pengguna rasakan, dan sistem akan menghasilkan penyakit yang kemungkinan diderita oleh pengguna tersebut, beserta solusi terbaik untuk menanganinya. Pengguna juga dapat memasukkan nama penyakit yang kemungkinan pengguna rasakan, dan sistem akan menampilkan beberapa pertanyaan sesuai penyakit tersebut, maka sistem akan menampilkan kebenaran ada atau tidaknya penyakit tersebut, beserta solusi untuk penanganannya. Metode analisis data sistem yang digunakan pada aplikasi ini adalah metode forward chaining, forward chaining yang memulai proses pencarian dari sekumpulan data atau fakta, dari data data tersebut dicari suatu kesimpulan yang menjadi solusi dari permasalahan yang dihadapi. Kata kunci : SistemInformasi, Sistem Pakar, Forward Chaining. Development of information systems is done in order to better system performance and more in accordance with the wishes of the user. In this study resulted in an application that can diagnose oral disease. Users can enter data in the form of symptoms symptoms that users feel, and the system will generate the possibility of disease suffered by the user, along with the best solution to handle it. Users can also enter the name of the disease are likely to feel the users, and the system will display the appropriate questions of the disease, then the system will show you the truth of the presence or absence of the disease, along with solutions for handling. Methods of data analysis system used in this application is a method of forward chaining, forward chaining which initiated the process of collection of data or facts, from this data sought a conclusion that a solution of the problems faced.
