Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the accounting information system is effective in supporting the effectiveness of internal control at SMKN 1 Rengasdengklok. The approach taken in this study is a qualitative approach. The population in this study were employees of SMKN 1 Rengasdengklok with 11 respondents. The data analysis technique used in this research is by comparing the findings of the field with the theory of accounting information systems. The results of this study indicate that the accounting information system does not fully support the effectiveness of internal control, systems that are not in accordance with Mulyadi's (2016) theoretical study are segregation of duties, accounting system procedures and accounting records. Keywords: Cash Receipt Accounting Information System, Cash Disbursement Accounting Information System, Internal Control. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah sistem informasi akuntansi sudah efektif dalam menunjang efektivitas pengendalian internal pada SMKN 1 Rengasdengklok. Pendekatan yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah pegawai SMKN 1 Rengasdengklok 11 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan cara membandingkan hasil temuan lapangan dengan teori sistem informasi akuntansi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi akuntansi belum sepenuhnya menunjang dalam efektivitas pengendalian internal, sistem yang belum sesuai dengan kajian teori Mulyadi (2016) adalah pemisahan tugas, prosedur sistem akuntansi dan catatan akuntansi.
