Abstract

Pasaraya Building, which is located in BLOK M, south of Jakarta, was originally a building intended for the needs of malls and shopping centers, with the development of communication technology making the Pasaraya building transformed into an office space. PT. ACSATA was chosen as an ISP coordinator to support fast access services, therefore access media that have bandwidth is needed so that the needs of fast access can be fulfilled. The application of fiber optic network systems includes FTTB (Fiber To The building) network. In FTTB (Fiber To The building) network which is the application of FTTx optical access network technology that uses PON (Passive Optical Network) technology FTTB (Fiber To The building) network is applied to a building in the form of apartments, hotels, and offices. GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) is one of the fiber optic network technologies developed by ITU-T via G.984. From the results of this paper it was found that the attenuation obtained ranged from -21,747 dBm d. -21,839 dBm in the implementation of fiber to the Building in Pasaraya Blok M was declared feasible because it was still in accordance with the ITU-T G.984 attenuation standard and the standard set by PT. ACSATA. Keywords: Fiber Optic, FTTB, Smart Building, Dual Holming Gedung Pasaraya yang terletak di BLOK M, Jakarta selatan awalnya adalah sebuah gedung yang diperuntukan untuk kebutuhan mall dan pusat perbelanjaan, dengan berkembangnya teknologi komunikasi membuat gedung pasaraya berubah menjadi tempat perkantoran. PT.ACSATA dipilih sebagai coordinator ISP untuk mendukung layanan akses yang cepat, untuk itu dibutuhkan media akses yang memiliki bandwith cukup besar agar kebutuhan akses cepat dapat terpenuhi.. Penerapan sistem jaringan fiber optic diantaranya jaringan FTTB (Fiber To The building). Pada jaringan FTTB (Fiber To The building) yang merupakan aplikasi teknologi jaringan akses optik FTTx yang menggunakan teknologi PON (Passive Optical Network) Jaringan FTTB (Fiber To The building) diaplikasikan pada suatu gedung baik berupa apartement, hotel, dan perkantoran. GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) merupakan salah satu teknologi jaringan fiber optic yang dikembangkan oleh ITU-T via G.984. Dari hasil penulisan ini didapat bahwa redaman yang di peroleh berkisar - 21.747 dBm s.d. -21.839 dBm dalam implementasi fiber to the Building di Pasaraya Blok M ini dinyatakan layak karena masih sesuai dengan standart redaman ITU-T G.984 dan standart yang telah ditetapkan oleh PT.ACSATA.
