Abstract

Software Defined Network (SDN) adalah sebuah konsep konfigurasi jaringan komputer baru yang dimana data plane dan control plane dipisahkan. Pada Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (Cisco ACI), dimana secara default dapat dikonfigurasi melalui controller utama yaitu Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC). Konfigurasi pada Cisco ACI yang dilakukan secara konvensional menimbulkan permasalahan yaitu ketika jumlah konfigurasi yang dibutuhkan banyak, karakteristik Cisco ACI di atas dapat menimbulkan masalah baru seperti waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk konfigurasi akan meningkat dan pekerjaan yang berulang akan meningkatkan resiko miskonfigurasi. Persoalan tersebut mengurangi tingkat efektifitas teknisi jaringan dalam mengkonfigurasi Cisco ACI. Dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut membuat tool otomasi untuk konfigurasi Cisco ACI menggunakan Ansible dan Python sebagai salah satu penerapan Software Defined Network (SDN) untuk otomasi konfigurasi jaringan pengintegrasi sistem. Penelitian dilakukan di PT. NTT Indonesia Technology. Hasil penelitian berupa sistem yang dapat melakukan konfigurasi Cisco ACI secara otomatis sehingga dapat membantu administrator jaringan. Hasil pengamatan pada konfigurasi secara manual membutuhkan waktu 50 menit dan konfigurasi otomatis membutuhkan waktu 6 menit, maka dari itu konfigurasi otomatis membutuhkan waktu yang lebih cepat. Kata Kunci: Software Defined Network (SDN), Ansible, Cisco ACI, Otomasi, Konfigurasi Jaringan Software Defined Network (SDN) is a new computer network configuration concept in which the data plane and control plane are separated. In Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (Cisco ACI), which by default can be configured through the main controller, namely the Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC). Configuration on Cisco ACI that is done conventionally creates problems, namely when the number of configurations required is large, the characteristics of the Cisco ACI above can cause new problems such as the time required for configuration will increase and repetitive work will increase the risk of misconfiguration. This problem reduces the level of effectiveness of network technicians in configuring Cisco ACI. In overcoming these problems created an automation tool for Cisco ACI configuration using Ansible and Python as one of the Software Defined Network (SDN) implementations for optimizing system integration network configurations. Research conducted at PT. NTT Indonesia Technology. The result of this research is a system that can configure Cisco ACI automatically so that it can help network administrators. Observations on manual configuration takes 50 minutes and automatic configuration takes 6 minutes, therefore automatic configuration requires a shorter time.
