Abstract
The TIPHON standard is a standard used to increase and improve the Quality of Service value. Quality of Service is an assessment of network traffic in a data communication system whether sent or received from servers or users. Following are the QoS parameters to measure network performance, namely Throughput, Packet Loss, Delay, and Jitter. Throughput is the speed (rate) for transferring files at a certain time. Packet loss is a parameter that displays the total number of packets lost on a network that will reduce overall network efficiency even if sufficient bandwidth is available for those applications. Delay is the time needed when sending data packets from one computer to another. Jitter is the variation of the delay, the difference between the first delay and the next delay. research was conducted by means of observation, observations were carried out by analyzing QoS (Quality of Service). The data is in the form of values of throughput, packet loss, delay and jitter which are QoS parameters. Based on the research that has been done, the results are throughput of 856 kbps, packet loss has a value of 0.85%, a delay value of 5.472 ms is included in the very good category, the QoS parameter jitter has a result of 5.11 ms. The results of Quality of Service analysis on bandwidth management using the simple queue method can be concluded to have good results for each of its parameters such as throughput, packet loss, delay and jitter. Keywords: QoS, Simple Queue, Throughput, Packet Loss, Delay Standar TIPHON merupakan standar yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan dan memperbaiki nilai Quality of Service. Quality of Service adalah penilaian dari trafik jaringan dalam suatu sistem komunikasi data baik dikirim atau diterima dari server maupun user. Berikut parameter-parameter QoS untuk mengukur kinerja jaringan yaitu Throughput, Packet Loss, Delay, dan Jitter. Throughput adalah kecepatan (rate) untuk mentransfer file pada waktu tertentu. Packet loss adalah parameter yang menampilkan jumlah total paket yang hilang pada jaringan akan mengurangi efisiensi jaringan secara keseluruhan meskipun jumlah bandwidth cukup tersedia untuk aplikasi-aplikasi tersebut. Delay adalah waktu yang di perlukan saat proses pengiriman paket data dari satu komputer ke komputer lainnya. Jitter adalah variasi delay, perbedaan antara penundaan pertama dan penundaan berikutnya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara observasi, data tersebut berupa nilai dari throughput, packet loss, delay dan jitter yang merupakan parameter QoS. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan mendapatkan hasil berupa throughput sebesar 856 kbps, Packet loss memiliki nilai 0,85%, Nilai delay sebesar 5,472 ms termasuk kategori sangat bagus, Jitter parameter QoS memiliki hasil sebesar 5,11 ms. Hasil analisis Quality of Service pada manajemen bandwidth menggunakan metode simple queue dapat di simpulkan memiliki hasil yang bagus dari setiap parameternya seperti throughput, packet loss, delay dan jitter.
