Abstract

Social media currently removes human barriers to socializing, space and time constraints. Social media is a communication medium for socializing with each other and done online that allows humans to interact with each other. Interesting and informative social media has the power to persuade. Through social media, the content that is shared is in accordance with the target audience and distinguishes a product from other products. Practical Work is one of the courses that must be taken by all Mercubuana University students because it is one of the requirements to pass the undergraduate program exam. Practical work is an activity carried out by students to go directly into the world of work in accordance with their competence, practical work aims to make students able to see and understand directly the actual state of the industry, because sometimes the knowledge gained on campus is still lacking relevant and less adaptive in the world of work that at the same time, the theory obtained on campus may not necessarily be implemented thoroughly in the world of work. Keywords : Social media, Communication media, Content, PT. Nusantara Digital, eGuards Indonesia. Sosial media saat ini menghapus batasan manusia untuk bersosialisasi, batasan ruang maupun waktu. Sosial media adalah sebuah media komunikasi untuk bersosialisasi satu sama lain dan dilakukan secara online yang memungkinkan manusia untuk saling berinteraksi. Sosial media yang menarik dan informatif memiliki kekuatan untuk membujuk. Melalui sosial media, konten yang di bagikan sesuai dengan target audiens dan membedakan suatu produk dengan produk lainnya. Kerja Praktek adalah salah satu mata kuliah yang wajib di tempuh oleh semua mahasiswa Universitas Mercubuana karena menjadi salah satu syarat lulus dalam ujian program sarjana S1. Kerja praktek adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa untuk terjun langsung ke dalam dunia kerja yang sesuai dengan kompetensinya, kerja praktek bertujuan agar mahasiswa dapat melihat dan memahami langsung keadaan Industri yang sebenarnya, karena terkadang ilmu yang di dapat di kampus masih kurang relevan dan kurang adaptif dalam dunia kerja yang seberanya, teori yang di dapat di kampus belum tentu dapat di implementasikan secara menyeluruh dalam dunia kerja Kata Kunci : Sosial media, Media komunikasi, Konten, Nusantara Digital, eGuards Indonesia.
