Abstract
This research aims to optimize the supply of consumable materials in cabin workshops using the Economic Order Quantity (POQ) method and the Periodic Order Quantity (POQ) method. The samples used in the study were 3 material items that had the highest cost difference from the data that had been collected. The data analysis method used is a quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of calculations and discussions show the total cost of inventory with the EOQ method of Rp. 7,979,882.00, POQ method amounted to Rp. 8,273,524.00 and company method amounted to Rp. 11,366,107.00, where the EOQ method provided savings of 29.79% or rp. 3,886,225.00, while the POQ method provided savings of 27.20% or rp. 3,092,583.00 compared to the company's method. So that the most efficient and economical method is the EOQ method, because in addition to guaranteeing the availability of all Consumable Material needs in cabin workshop, the EOQ method also has the smallest total inventory cost compared to the POQ (Period Order Quantity) method and the company's current method. Keyword: economic order quantity, periodic order quantity Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan persediaan consumable material pada cabin workshop menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (POQ) dan metode Periodic Order Quantity (POQ). Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 item material yang memiliki selisih biaya tertinggi dari data yang telah dikumpulkan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil perhitungan dan pembahasan menunjukkan total biaya persediaan dengan metode EOQ sebesar Rp. 7.979.882,00, metode POQ sebesar Rp. 8.273.524,00 dan metode perusahaan sebesar Rp. 11.366.107,00, dimana metode EOQ memberikan penghematan sebesar 29,79% atau senilai Rp. 3.886.225,00 , sedangkan metode POQ memberikan penghematan sebesar 27,20% atau senilai Rp. 3.092.583,00 dibandingkan dengan metode perusahaan. Sehingga metode paling efisien dan ekonomis adalah metode EOQ, karena selain bisa menjamin ketersediaan semua kebutuhan Consumable Material pada Cabin Workshop, metode EOQ juga memiliki total biaya persediaan paling kecil dibandingkan dengan metode POQ (Period Order Quantity) dan metode perusahaan saat ini.
