Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial performance of telecommunication sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the period 2016 to 2019 using financial ratio analysis and Du Pont System analysis. The object of this research is a telecommunications sub-sector company consisting of 4 companies namely PT Indosat Tbk, PT Smartfren Telekom Tbk, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, PT XL Axiata Tbk. Based on the results of the research used, it can be concluded that the financial performance of the best telecommunications sub-sector companies is PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk where the profitability ratio level at PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia is above the industry average and for PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk has underperformed during the research period, due to net profit at the company suffered losses during 2016- 2019. Keywords: Financial Performance, Ratio Analysis, Du Pont System Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja keuangan perusahaan sub sektor telekomunikasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan periode tahun 2016 sampai dengan tahun 2019 yang menggunakan analisis rasio keuangan dan analisis Du Pont System. Objek penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sub sektor telekomunikasi yang terdiri dari 4 perusahaan yaitu PT Indosat Tbk, PT Smartfren Telekom Tbk, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, PT XL Axiata Tbk. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang digunakan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kinerja keuangan pada perusahaan sub sektor telekomunikasi yang terbaik adalah PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk dimana tingkat rasio profitabilitas pada PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia berada diatas rata-rata industri dan untuk PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk mempunyai kinerja keuangan yang kurang baikselama periode penelitian, dikarenakan laba bersih pada perusahaan tersebut mengalami kerugian selama tahun 2016-2019.
