Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Profitability Ratio, Firm Size, and Sales Growth on Capital Structure. The object of this research are Industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2016-2021. This research is a quantitative type using secondary data. Data collection techniques use literature study methods as well as download annual report data. The population in this study is all Industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange amounting to 50 companies. By using purposive sampling techniques to determine the sample, so that the sample in this study amounted to 13 companies that fit the criteria. The data analysis method used is panel data regression analysis with the selected model approach, namely fixed effect model and with the help of Eviews 12 software. The results showed that Profitability has no effect on Capital Structure, Firm Size has a negative effect on Capital Structure and Sales Growth has a positive effect on Capital Structure. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Rasio Profitabilitas, Ukuran Perusahaan dan Pertumbuhan Penjualan terhadap Struktur Modal. Objek penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor Perindustrian yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2016-2021. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan serta mengunduh laporan keuangan tahunan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh sektor Perindustrian yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia berjumlah 50 perusahaan. Dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling untuk menentukan sampel, sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 13 perusahaan yang sesuai dengan kriteria. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi data panel dengan pendekatan model yang terpilih yaitu fixed effect model dan dengan bantuan software Eviews 12. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap Struktur Modal, Ukuran Perusahaan berpengaruh negatif terhadap Struktur Modal dan Pertumbuhan Penjualan berpengaruh positif terhadap Struktur Modal.
