Abstract

The power transformer is the most important device in the substation and plays an important role in the power transmission system. If there is an abnormality in the transformer, it will accelerate the aging process, this can lead to failure of the transformer which results in large revenue losses not only for utilities but also for customers. Therefore, the transformer health assessment becomes very important. Checking the condition of the transformer is divided into 3, namely In Services Inspection (Inspection in operating condition), In Services Measurement (Test in operating state), and Shutdown Measurement (Test in an off state). Testing in a state of blackout (Shutdown Measurement) is a test that is carried out routinely every 2 years or a test carried out if the transformer experiences an internal fault. Some examples of testing on transformers are Ratio testing, R-DC, Dynamic Resistance, Continuity, Polarity Index, and others. Among these tests, many require replacing the tap on the On Load Tap Changer (OLTC) at the time of testing. At the time of testing, there were obstacles for testing the transformer at the Substation with the Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) type because the location of the transformer was outside the building while the location of the test point was inside the building. This condition makes the transformer testing process difficult because the primary side of the transformer can only be tested through the existing test facility in the GIS compartment which is located indoors. In response to the problem of limited time, and remote test locations, as well as the limited number of maintenance personnel, a solution that can optimize testing time is needed without the need for additional personnel. For this reason, a possible solution that can be offered is to create a tool or interface that can help simplify and speed up the transformer testing process. NodeMCU ESP8266 is a type of microcontroller that is used as a remote control because it already has a WIFI feature. By utilizing this remote control device, it can become an extension or a tool that can speed up the implementation of power transformer testing, especially on GIS type transformers, and the number of personnel initially worked on by 3 people can be optimized to 2 personnel. Keywords: Transformer, On Load Tap Changer (OLTC), Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Internet of Things (IoT), NodeMCU ESP8266 Transformator daya adalah perangkat terpenting di gardu induk, dan memainkan peran penting dalam sistem transmisi listrik. Apabila terjadi kelainan pada transformator maka akan mempercepat proses penuaannya, hal ini dapat menyebabkan kegagalan pada transformator yang mengakibatkan kerugian pendapatan yang besar tidak hanya pada utilitas tetapi juga pada pelanggan. Oleh karena itu, penilaian kesehatan transformator menjadi sangat penting. Pengecekan kondisi transformator dibagi menjadi 3 yaitu In Services Inspection (Inspeksi dalam keadaan operasi), In Services Measurement (Pengujian dalam keadaan operasi), dan Shutdown Measurement (Pengujian dalam keadaan padam). Pengujian dalam keadaan padam (Shutdown Measurement) adalah pengujian yang dilakukan secara rutin 2 tahunan ataupun pengujian yang dilakukan apabila transformator mengalami gangguan internal. Beberapa contoh pengujian pada transformator adalah pengujian Rasio, R-DC, Dinamic Resistance, Continuity, Indeks Polaritas, dan lain-lain. Diantara pengujian tersebut banyak yang membutuhkan penggantian tap pada On Load Tap Changer (OLTC) pada saat dilakukan pengujian. Pada saat melakukan pengujian, terdapat kendala untuk pengujian tranformator pada Gardu Induk dengan tipe Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) karena lokasi transformator berada diluar Gedung sementara lokasi titik pengujian berada di dalam Gedung. Kondisi ini membuat proses pengujian transformator menjadi sulit karena sisi primer transformator hanya dapat diuji melalui fasilitas uji yang ada di kompartemen GIS yang lokasi di dalam ruangan. Menanggapi masalah waktu yang terbatas, dan lokasi pengujian yang jauh, serta jumlah personil pemeliharaan yang terbatas, oleh sebab itu dibutuhkan solusi yang dapat mengoptimalkan waktu pengujian tanpa perlu penambahan jumlah personil. Untuk itu solusi yang mungkin dapat ditawarkan adalah membuat alat atau antarmuka yang dapat membantu mempermudah dan mempercepat proses pengujian transformator. NodeMCU ESP8266 adalah jenis microcontroller yang digunakan sebagai kontrol jarak jauh karena sudah memiliki fitur WIFI. Dengan memanfaatkan perangkat kontrol jarak jauh ini, dapat menjadi perpanjangan tangan atau alat bantu yang dapat mempercepat pelaksanaan pengujian transformator daya khususnya pada transformator jenis GIS, dan jumlah personil yang awalnya dikerjaan oleh 3 orang dapan dioptimalkan menjadi 2 orang personil.
