Abstract

PT.TKM has 3 Powder Coating (PC) production lines, they are PC-1 (PC manual), PC-2 (PC automatic), and PC-3 (PC automatic). Based on data from the painting process time (PPT) and gas fuel consumption (GFC) from 2017 to 2019, it is stated that the average PPT and the average GFC of PC-1 units exceed the PPT standards and GFC standards. Then PT. TKM in early 2020 decided to develop PC-1. However, this decision requires a scientific study, to determine the most efficient PC unit, and can be a development reference, for the most inefficient unit. This study uses 2 analytical methods, they are Single Productivity (PS) analysis and Multi-Factor Productivity (PMF) analysis. The results of the PS analysis stated that, PC-3 was the most productive, and PC-1 was the least productive. Then the results of the PMF analysis stated that, PC-3 was the most productive, and PC-1 was the least productive. So from the 2 results of the analysis, PC-3 is declared the most efficient PC, and PC-3 is a reference model for the development of PC-1 and PC- 2. PT.TKM memiliki 3 lini produksi Powder Coating (PC), mereka adalah PC-1 (PC manual), PC-2 (PC otomatis), dan PC-3 (PC otomatis). Berdasarkan data waktu proses pengecatan (WPP) dan konsumsi bahan bakar gas (KBBG) dari 2017 hingga 2019 menyatakan, bahwa rata-rata WPP dan rata-rata KBBG unit PC-1 melebihi standar WPP dan standar KBBG. Lalu PT. TKM diawal 2020 memutusan untuk mengembangkan PC-1. Namun keputusan tersebut memerlukan suatu kajian ilmiah, untuk mengetahui unit PC yang paling efisien, dan dapat menjadi rujukan pengembangan, bagi unit yang paling tidak efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 metode analisis, yaitu analisis Produktivitas Single (PS) dan analisis Produktivitas Multi Faktor (PMF). Hasil analisis PS menyatakan bahwa, PC-3 adalah yang paling produktif, dan PC-1 adalah yang paling tidak produktif. Kemudian hasil analisis PMF menyatakan bahwa, PC-3 adalah yang paling produktif, dan PC-1 adalah yang paling tidak produktif. Jadi dari 2 hasil analisis tersebut, PC-3 dinyatakan sebagai PC yang paling efisien, serta PC-3 merupakan model rujukan untuk pengembangan PC-1 dan PC-2.
