Abstract

Implementasi cloud computing pada lembaga pendidikan masih belum banyak diteliti, cloud computing sendiri merupakan sebuah pengembangan dari teknologi informasi yang dapat memberikan solusi atas keterbatasan lembaga pendidikan dalam menyediakan perangkat yang akan terus bertambah. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) yang digunakan untuk implementasi Cloud Storage di SMK Multimedia. Model kerangka ini dirasa perlu untuk diteliti karena sebelumnya NDLC baru di teliti di sektor industri, penelitian ini akan menganalisa fase pada NDLC. Hasil penelitian ini berupa kebutuhan server fisik terhadap proses yang berjalan dan modifikasi kerangka NDLC, yang terdiri dari 3 (tiga) tahapan, yaitu tahap analisis, perancangan dan simulasi. Kemudian menghasilkan pilot project cloud storage dengan model implementasi Cloud Storage dan layanan OwnCloud untuk lembaga pendidikan, dalam hal ini pada SMK Multimedia Mandiri. Kata Kunci : Cloud Computing, Cloud Storage, NDLC, model kerangka. The implementation of cloud computing in educational institutions is still not much researched, cloud computing itself is a development of information technology that can provide solutions to the limitations of educational institutions in providing devices that will continue to grow. This study uses the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) model that is used for the implementation of Cloud Storage in Multimedia Senior Hig School. This framework model needs to be investigated because previously NDLC has been thoroughly examined in the industrial sector, this research will analyze the phases in NDLC. The results of this study are in the form of physical server requirements for running processes and modifications to the NDLC framework, which consists of 3 (three) stages, namely the analysis, design, and simulation stages. Then produce a cloud storage pilot project with a model of implementation of Cloud Storage and OwnCloud services for educational institutions, in this case the Multimedia Senior High School.
