Abstract
The design of this explainer video about the anti-plastic life social campaign aims to remind the public about the dangers of plastic waste to the environment and human life. Plastic waste cannot be decomposed in the soil. A lot of plastic waste is generated from households. For this reason, it is necessary to have creativity from the community as an effort to utilize and reduce plastic waste. There needs to be a creative strategy related to the idea and concept of an explainer video on dealing with plastic waste to become a message that attracts people's attention. The community is the target audience (main target) of this design. The research method used in designing this Video Explainer is a qualitative research method. This Explainer video will later be published on social media channels such as Youtube and Instagram. Keywords: Video Explainer, Motion Visual, Visual Communication Media, Educational Video, Plastic Waste. Perancangan video explainer tentang kampanye sosial hidup anti plastik ini bertujuaan untuk mengingatkan masyarakat tentang bahaya limbah plastik terhadap lingkungan dan kehidupan manusia. Limbah plastik tidak bisa terurai di dalam tanah. Sampah plastik banyak sekali dihasilkan dari rumah tangga. Untuk itu perlu adanya kreativitas dari masyarakat sebagai upaya pemanfaatan dan pengurangan sampah plastik. Perlu adanya strategi kreatif yang berkaitan dengan ide dan konsep video explainer terhadap penanggulangan sampah plastik menjadi sebuah pesan yang menarik perhatian masyarakat. Masyarakat adalah target audience (sasaran utama) dari ini perancangan ini. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam perancangan Video Explainer ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Video Explainer ini nantinya akan di publikasikan dikanal sosial media seperti Youtube, dan Instagram. Kata Kunci: Video Explainer, Visual Gerak, Media Komuikasi Visual, Vidio Edukasi , Sampah Plastik.
