Abstract

Planning for technology microwave radio point to point , which is with Link Budget . Link budget is a way to calculate all parameters in signal transmission from gain and loss from transmitter (Tx) to receiver (Rx) through the transmission medium. Link budgeting is calculated based on the distance between Tx and Rx. Creating a link requires an obstacle-free propagation path condition (Line Of Sight) by determining the height and location of a good antenna at each point and calculating the link performance of the device system so that good planning criteria are obtained. Based on the results of the full report using the Pathloss 4.0 application, the Baros-Cibaraja site, the Baros-Baros Lingkar Selatan site, the Baros- Cimuncang intersection site is in a LOS (Line Of Sight) state where Line of Sight is a condition when the Fresnell zone line is free from all forms of obstructions. (obstacle) sent by the transmitter . By paying attention to the link budget parameters in accordance with the standardization, it produces a receiver power level (RX signal) in the range of -40 dBm to -25 dBm according to the RSL standard, and for the value of the Fading Margin according to the standard, namely: > 30 dB, for the three links meet the existing standards . and for the Availability value with standardization, the minimum Availability value of 99.999xx% meets the existing standards, meaning that the quality of services provided to communicate with each other is in the ideal range. Keywords: Microwave Point To Point, Link Budget, RSL, Fading Margin, Availability Melakukan perencanaan untuk teknologi radio microwave point to point salah satunya dengan link budget . Link budget merupakan sebuah cara untuk menghitung mengenai semua parameter dalam transmisi sinyal mulai dari gain dan loss dari transmitter (Tx) sampai receiver (Rx) melalui media transmisi. Link budgeting dihitung berdasarkan jarak antara Tx dan Rx. Membuat suatu link diperlukan suatu kondisi lintasan propagasi yang bebas hambatan (Line Of Sight ) dengan penentuan tinggi dan letak antena yang baik di setiap titik serta perhitungan link performansi sistem perangkat sehingga diperoleh kriteria perencanaan yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil full report dengan menggunakan aplikasi pathloss 4.0 menghasilkan site Baros – Cibaraja , site Baros – Baros Lingkar Selatan , site Baros – Perempatan Cimuncang dalam keadaan LOS ( Line Of Sight ) dimana Line of Sight adalah kondisi saat garis fresnell zone terbebas dari segala bentuk penghalang (obstacle) yang dikirimkan oleh pemancar . Dengan memperhatikan parameter link budget yang sesuai dengan standarisasi menghasilkan Level daya penerima (RX signal) pada rentang -40 dBm s/d -25 dBm sesuai dengan standarisasi RSL , dan untuk nilai Nilai dari Fading Margin sesuai dengan standarisasi yaitu : >30 dB , untuk ketiga link tersebut memenuhi standarisasi yang ada . dan untuk nilai Availability dengan standarisasi nilai minimum Availability 99,999xx% memenuhi standarisasi yang ada berarti kualitas layanan yang di berikan untuk saling berkomunikasi berada di cakupan ideal .
