Abstract
Abstrak UD. Sari Jaya merupakan salah satu home industry pengolahan kripik singkong di daerah Depok, Jawa Barat, selain mengolah singkong menjadi kripik UD. Sari Jaya juga memiliki berbagai varian produk lainya, seperti kripik kentang dan macaroni. Produksi utama UD. Sari Jaya adalah kripik singkong, karena dilihat dari minat konsumen kripik singkong menjadi produk yang laku terjual. Permasalahan yang dihadapi UD. Sari Jaya adalah belum mampu memenuhi permintaan pasar dengan proses pengiriman produk jadi yang efektif. Dalam proses pengiriman kepada pembeli sering kali pembelikekurangan ketersediaan karena pengiriman yang tidak efektif. Untuk mendapatkan proses pengiriman yang efektif guna memenuhi permintaan pembeli UD. Sari Jaya harus menerapkan model Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Model ini dinilai cocok untuk diterapkan dalam proses pemenuhan persediaan pembeli. Dengan menggunakan model tersebut UD. Sari Jaya dapat menentukan jumlah ukuran lot pemesanan pembeli, frekuensi pengiriman ke pembeli, dan total ongkos yang dikeluarkan pembeli, maupun pemasok. Hasil yang diperoleh menggunakan model VMI untuk satu warung didapatkan frekuensi pengiriman sebesar 4 kali dalam sebulan dan ukuran lot pemesanan pembeli sebesar 232 pcs per bulan. Dengan begitu UD. Sari Jaya dapat mengkontrol dengan baik proses pengiriman dan pembeli tidak akan mengalami kekurangan persediaan. Sari Jaya is not yet able to meet market demand by the process of shipping effective finished products. In the process of sending buyers often buyers lack availability due to ineffective shipments. To get an effective shipping process to meet the demands of UD buyers. Sari Jaya must apply the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) model. This model is considered suitable to be applied in the process of fulfilling buyers' inventory. By using the model UD. Sari Jaya can determine the number of buyer lot order sizes, the frequency of delivery to the buyer, and the total costs incurred by buyers, and suppliers. The results obtained using the VMI model for one stall obtained a delivery frequency of 4 times a month and the buy lot lot size of 232 pcs per month. That way UD.
