Abstract
Automotive component waste is an unused object and left without special treatment, but this waste has the potential of special value that is used as a variety of needs. In this case, I as a designer had the opportunity to utilize the piston waste as one of the special materials with the exploration of some of the waste that has been found in some of these automotive workshops. This encourages me how piston waste can be made into table spotlights, with waste material looking not like secondhand goods but giving the impression of a new form of existing spotlights. Table spotlight products are chosen because it will present the shape of a robot on the spotlight as an aesthetic value. Keywords: Automotive Component Waste, Table Spotlight, Piston Waste Limbah komponen otomotif adalah suatu benda yang sudah tidak terpakai dan dibiarkan begitu saja tanpa adanya perlakuan khusus, namun limbah ini memiliki potensi nilai khusus yang dijadikan berbagai macam kebutuhan. Dalam hal ini, saya sebagai perancang berkesempatan untuk memanfaatkan limbah piston tersebut sebagai salah satu material khusus dengan eksplorasi beberapa limbah yang sudah ditemukan pada beberapa bengkel otomotif tersebut. Hal ini mendorong saya bagaimana limbah piston dapat di buat menjadi lampu sorot meja, dengan berbahan material limbah terlihat tidak seperti barang bekas namun memberikan kesan bentuk baru dari lampu sorot yang sudah ada. Produk lampu sorot meja di pilih karena akan menghadirkan bentuk robot pada lampu sorot sebagai nilai estetika. Kata Kunci: Limbah Komponen Otomotif, Lampu Sorot Meja, Limbah Piston
