Abstract

Electrical energy is generated at the power plant, which is usually located far from the load center, so a transmission line is needed so that this electrical energy can be distributed to the community. The substation is part of a distribution transmission line that acts as a control center and consists of a collection of extra high voltage equipment. The power transformer as the main equipment in the substation must receive routine maintenance to maintain its reliability and go through several tests to prevent future failures. The method used is to analyze the condition of the transformer through testing in an off state, including the calculation of the transformer ratio to determine the condition of the transformer windings. To find out the comparison of the winding input voltage of 20,000 volts and output voltage of 400 volts on the power transformer. The author uses a TTR (Transformer Turn Ratio) measuring instrument, the Raytech brand. With a voltage of 40Vac, from the results of the comparisons that have been made, it can be seen, if the TTR (Transformer Turn Ratio) measuring instrument test results if it crosses the 0.5% tolerance limit, it can be seen that the measurement result of one of the coils changes the ratio. The test results with a TTR (Transformer Turn Ratio) measuring instrument will be compared with the formula. If a routine check is not carried out on the transformer, it will result in an unbalanced voltage on one of the coils. And one of the coils in phase will expand and cause a loss of voltage. Energi listrik dibangkitkan di pusat pembangkit (power plant) yang biasanya terletak jauh dari pusat beban, sehingga diperlukan adanya saluran transmisi agar energy listrik tersebut dapat didistribusikan kepada masnyarakat. Gardu induk merupakan bagian dari saluran transmisi distribusi yang berperan sebagai pusat control dan terdiri dari sekumpulan alat bertegangan ekstra tinggi. Transformator daya sebagai peralatan utama dalam gardu induk harus mendapatkan perawatan rutin agar terjaga keandalannya dan melalui beberapa pengujian guna mencegah terjadinya kegagalan dikemudian hari. Metode yang dilakukan adalah analisa kondisi transformator melalui pengujian dalam keadaan padam, diantaranya perhitungan ratio transformator untuk mengetahui kondisi belitan transformator. Untuk mengetahui perbandingan belitan tegangan masuk 20.000 Volt dan tegangan keluar 400 Volt pada transformator daya. Penulis menggunkan alat ukur TTR (Transformator Turn Ratio), brand raytech. Dengan tegangan 40Vac, dari hasil perbandingan yang telah dilakukan maka dapat diketahui, apabila pada hasil pengetesan alat ukur TTR (Transformator Turn Ratio) apabila melewati batas toleransi 0,5% maka dapat diketahui bahwa hasil pengukuran salah satu coil tersebut mengalami perubahan rasio. Hasil pengetesan dengan alat ukur TTR (Transformator Turn Ratio) akan dilakukan perbandingan dengan rumus. Apabila tidak dilakukan pengecekan rutin test pada transformator maka akan mengakibatkan unbalance tegangan pada salah satu coil tersebut. Dan salah satu coil pada phasa akan memuai dan mengakibatkan hilangnya tegangan. Kata Kunci : saluran transmisi, transformator, transformator turn ratio (TTR).
