Abstract

Teenagers are the forerunners of productive population who will contribute to development. Teenagers are critical times so that teens need more attention, especially from their parents. Robinson, et al., 1995 explained that parenting is divided into 3 type, namely authoritative, authoritarian, and permissive. Teenagers will try new things that tend to have great risks for their development, such as getting married at an early age. The method of this research is descriptive corelational. The population in this study were all young men and women in Desa X who were married at the age of 15-20 years, totaling 55 respondents, with sampling using the total sampling technique. Questionnaire collection tool. Data analysis using chi square test. The results of parenting in Desa X, Bogor, the majority are authoritative parenting as much as 92.7% and Authoritarian Parenting is 7.3%. For the decision to get married early because of their own desires amounting to 87.3% while because of obeying parents by 12.7%. Because parents who adhere to otoriatif parenting, will be able to receive input from their children, related to the decision to get married early. Where as parents who adopt authoritarian parenting will advise their children to marry early and children cannot refuse it. Keywords: Descriptive studies, parenting, decision to get married early, Adolescents. Remaja merupakan cikal bakal penduduk produktif yang akan berkontribusi dalam pembangunan. Masa remaja adalah saat kritis sehingga remaja membutuhkan perhatian yang lebih terutama dari orang tuanya. Robinson, et Al, 1995 menjelaskan bahwa Pola Asuh dibagi menjadi 3, yaitu Otoritatif, Otoriter, dan Permisif. Remaja cenderung mencoba hal-hal baru yang cenderung memiliki resiko yang besar untuk perkembangannya, salah satunya menikah pada usia dini. Metode penelitian ini adalah descriptive corelational. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua remaja putra dan putri di Desa X yang menikah pada usia 15-20 tahun yang berjumlah 55 responden, dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Alat pengumpulan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil Pola asuh orang tua Di Desa X, Bogor mayoritas adalah pola asuh otoritatif sebanyak 92,7% dan Pola Asuh Otoriter sebanyak 7,3%. Untuk keputusan menikah dini karena keinginan sendiri sebesar 87,3% sedangkan karena menuruti orang tua sebesar 12,7%. Dikarenakan orang tua yang menganut pola asuh otoriatif, akan dapat menerima masukan dari anaknya, terkait keputusan menikah dini. Sedangkan orang tua yang menganut pola asuh otoriter akan menyarankan anaknya untuk menikah dini dan anak tidak bisa menolaknya.
