Abstract

The current development of technology and information continues to open up new alternatives with various studies being conducted. The rapid development of technology raises potential businesses, one of which is the boarding house business. Even though this business is classified as potential, it has weaknesses, namely information from the web that is still lacking and makes consumers disappointed. The method of this research uses the waterfall method. Then this information Sistem is made for ordering more optimal boarding rooms and updating to make it easier for consumers. The results of the application show that the testing process uses 50 users and the results of this test are that if 50 users click simultaneously, they only have 1 error and have an average click time of 400 ms. Next, from the test results, it is concluded that this website has can be used. The conclusion is that the boarding room booking information Sistem created can meet the needs of boarding house bookers and boarding room managers in making the booking process and managing boarding rooms in the West Jakarta area. In addition, this Sistem also has a responsive design so that it can be used in various devices such as computers, laptops and smartphones. Keywords: boarding house, Waterfall Method, Boarding Application, West Jakarta Perkembangan teknologi dan informasi saat ini terus membuka berbagai alternatif baru dengan berbagai penelitian yang dilakukan.dengan adanya teknologi yang pesat memunculkan bisnis potenial salah satnya bisnis kost. Meskipun bisnis ini tergolong potensial tetapi memiliki kelemahan yakni informasi dari web yang masih kurang dan membuat konsmen kecewa.Adapun metode dari penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall.Kemudian Sistem informasi ini dibuat untuk pemesanan kamar kost yang lebih optimal dan pembaharuan agar memudahkan konsumen. Hasil dari aplikasi bahwa proses pengujian ini menggunakan 50 user dan hasil dari pengujian ini adalah bila 50 user melakukan klik secara bersamaan maka mereka hanya memiliki 1 error dan memiliki rata-rata waktu klik yakni 400 ms.Berikutnya dari hasil pengujian maka disimpulkan bahwa website ini sudah bisa digunakan.Kesimpulannya bahwa Sistem informasi pemesanan kamar kos yang dibuat dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pemesan kamar kos dan pengelola kamar kos dalam melakukan proses pemesanan dan pengelolaan kamar kos di wilayah Jakarta Barat.Selain itu, Sistem ini juga memiliki desain yang responsif sehingga dapat digunakan pada berbagai perangkat seperti komputer, laptop, maupun smartphone.
