Abstract

Seminar activities where participants have to fill in the data manually needed to make a certificate at the end of the activity make the information dissemination uneven. Reviewing this matter, internet technology can be used for online seminar registration, making it easier for seminar organizers to find out the accumulated results of seminar events and reduce the occurrence of errors in inputting participant names. In this research, a website-based system for selling seminar tickets will be developed as an affiliate system for selling seminar tickets, namely by helping seminar organizers to promote or market seminar ticket sales. The prototype development method is used as a guide for building seminar registration information systems. The results obtained from making a web-based seminar registration application using the Content Based Filtering recommendation system result in a faster and recommended seminar registration process. So that the seminar activities run more smoothly and successfully. Keywords: Seminar, Tickets, Prototype Method, Web based, Content Based Filtering Kegiatan seminar yang dimana peserta harus mengisi data secara manual yang diperlukan untuk pembuatan sertifikat pada akhir kegiatan dan membuat penyebaran informasi tidak merata. Meninjau mengenai hal tersebut, teknologi internet dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pendaftaran seminar secara online, sehingga mempermudah penyelenggara seminar untuk mengetahui akumulasi hasil acara seminar dan mengurangi terjadinya kesalahan pada pengimputan nama peserta. Pada penelitian ini akan dikembangkan sebuah sistem untuk penjualan tiket seminar berbasis website sebagai sistem afiliasi penjualan tiket seminar, yaitu dengan membantu penyelenggara seminar untuk mempromosikan atau memasarkan penjualan tiket seminar. Metode pengembangan Prototype digunakan sebagai panduan untuk membangun sistem informasi pendaftaran seminar. Adapun hasil yang di peroleh dari pembuatan aplikasi pendaftaran seminar berbasis web menggunakan sistem rekomendasi Content Based Filtering maka menghasilkan proses pendaftaran seminar lebih cepat dan terekomendasi. Sehingga kegiatan seminar lebih berjalan lancar dan sukses. Kata kunci: Seminar, Tiket, Metode Prototype, Web based, Content Based Filtering
