Abstract

ABSTRAK Perusahaan fokus memproduksi produk berkualitas dengan menerapkan Toyota Production System atau dikenal dengan nama TPS. Kendala yang ada saat ini tidak adanya perawatan pada mesin Leak Test sehingga mengurangi keuntungan produksi yang diakibatkan karena kerusakan mesin yang cukup tinggi, hal ini juga menyebabkan rata-rata waktu perbaikan mesin Leak Test Model 4L45W ini diatas target perbaikan yang ditetapkan perusahaan, dimana perusahaan menargetkan ratarata waktu perbaikan perbulannya adalah 12 menit. Untuk itu diperlukan adanya langkah perbaikan agar proses produksi berjalan dengan lancar sesuai standar operasional. Langkah tersebut dengan mengusulkan penerapan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Diketahui bahwa rata-rata nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) mesin Leak Test model 4L45W pada bulan Juni-bulan Agustus adalah 60,09%. Dari Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) menetapkan Jika Nilai OEE sama dengan 60% menandakan adanya ruang yang besar untuk peningkatan atau improvement. Setelah dilakukannya Penerapan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pada mesin Leak Test dibulan September nilai OEE-nya naik menjadi 94,33% dan waktu rata-rata perbaikan perbulannya dapat sesuai target yang diharapkan perusahaan yaitu 9,2 menit. Hal ini sangat mempengaruhi cost down/menurunkan biaya produksi karena overtime. Ini menandakan improvement dan langkah awal Evaluasi Penerapan Total Productive Maintenance mesin Leak Test model 4L45W dikatakan berhasil. Kata Kunci: Total Productive Maintenance, Toyota Production System, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Mean Time To Repair ABSTRACT The company focuses on producing quality products by implementing the Toyota Production System known as TPS. The current constraint is the absence of maintenance on the Leak Test, thereby reducing production profits caused by high engine damage, this also causes the average repair time for the Leak Test Model 4L45W engine to be above the repair target set by the company, where the company targets average repair time per month is 12 minutes. For this reason, corrective steps are needed so that the production process runs smoothly according to operational standards. This step is by proposing the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). It is known that the average Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Leak Test machine in June-August was 60.09%. From the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) stipulates that if the OEE value is equal to 60%, it indicates that there is large room for improvement. After implementing the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on the Leak Test in September, the OEE value rose to 94.33% and the average monthly repair time met the company's target of 9.2 minutes. This greatly affects the cost down/lower production costs due to overtime. This indicates improvement and the first step in the proposed implementation of the Total Productive Maintenance Machine Leak Test model 4L45W is said to be successful.
