Abstract

ABSTRAK Perusahaan Komponen Otomotif merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi komponen kendaraan bermotor roda dua, khususnya pada sistem pendingin bagian mesin kendaraan bermotor (Engine Cooling Module). Salah satu komponen sistem pendingin bagian mesin tersebut adalah Radiator, pada proses produksi Radiator yaitu perakitan bagian Tank radiator dengan Core radiator masih menghasilkan rasio cacat lebih dari batas yang telah di tentukan perusahaan sebesar 0.70% selama tahun 2022 hingga saat ini. Dengan Kondisi seperti itu perusahaan perlu melakukan pengendalian kualitas pada proses produksi agar dapat menurunkan rasio cacat sehingga tetap berada di bawah batas standard. Metode PFMEA (Potential Failure Mode & Effect Analysis) yang di kombinasi dengan Metode PDCA (Plan Do Check Action) dipilih karena penelitian ini berhubungan dengan kualitas dan perbaikan maka dari itu tools tersebut digunakan untuk mengevaluasi secara menyeluruh kondisi cacat saat ini. Kemudian dilakukan perbaikan dari hasil analisa menggunakan metode PFMEA beserta PDCA. Penyebab dari Tank Deform adalah karena faktor mesin dengan proses press secara vertikal. Kemudian perbaikan yang dilakukan adalah melakukan pembuatan mesin baru dengan kombinasi press secara horizontal dan menggabungkan dua proses assembling tank menjadi satu mesin dengan standarisasi SOP dan tekanan silinder. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perbaikan kualitas yaitu adanya penurunan rasio cacat setiap bulan dari 0.96% menjadi 0.65% dibawah target maksimum dari perusahaan dan penurunan nilai RPN (Risk Priority Number) tertinggi pada item cacat tank deform dari 126 poin menjadi 60 poin. Sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan berkelanjutan agar jenis-jenis cacat pada proses tank & core assembling dapat dihilangkan. Kata Kunci : Kualitas, PFMEA, PDCA, Radiator, RPN ABSTRACT The Automotive Components Company is a company that manufactures components for two-wheeled motorized vehicles, particularly in the cooling system for engine cooling modules (Engine Cooling Module). One of the components of the cooling system for the engine part is the Radiator, in the Radiator production process, namely the assembly of the radiator Tank section with the radiator Core, it still results in a defect ratio of more than the limit set by the company of 0.70% during 2022 until now. Under such conditions, the company needs to carry out quality control in the production process in order to reduce the defect ratio so that it remains below the standard limit. The PFMEA (Potential Failure Mode & Effect Analysis) method combined with the PDCA (Plan Do Check Action) method was chosen because this research deals with quality and repair, therefore these tools are used to thoroughly evaluate the current defect condition. Then repairs were made from the results of the analysis using the PFMEA and PDCA methods. The cause of the Tank Deform is due to the machine factor with the vertical press process. Then the improvements made were making a new machine with a combination of horizontal presses and combining the two assembling tanks into one machine with standardized SOP and cylinder pressure. The results showed an improvement in quality, namely a decrease in the defect ratio every month from 0.96% to 0.65% below the maximum target from the company and the highest decrease in the RPN (Risk Priority Number) value for the tank deform defect item from 126 points to 60 points. So it is necessary to carry out continuous improvements so that the types of defects in the tank & core assembling process can be eliminated. Keywords : Quality, PFMEA, PDCA, Radiator, RPN
