Abstract

ABSTRAK Mesin MRI adalah salah satu alat medis yang sangat berperan penting dalam sebuah Rumah Sakit, karena berfungsi sebagai alat bantu diagnosis dokter dalam menentukan gangguan kesehatan dan menemukan cara pengobatan yang tepat untuk pasien. Dalam pengoperasiannya mesin MRI membutuhkan mesin chiller untuk menjaga helium dalam mesin MRI tetap dingin. Seperti mesin MRI di RS Brawijaya Saharjo menggunakan 2 unit chiller air cooled dengan kapasitas masing masing 35 kW. Ketidaksesuaian pola pengoperasian sistem refrigerasi pada saat perancangan dengan keadaan actual merupakan salah satu penyebap tingginya konsumsi energi listrik. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan analisa efektivitas pada sistem refrigerasi agar dapat diketahui apakah energi yang digunakan sudah efisien. Data yang diambil adalah temperature water chiller in dan out juga pressure water chiller in dan out dilakukan dengan pengamatan langsung terhadap control panel chiller setiap 1 jam sekali selama 24 jam. Pada proyek ini, penulis ingin mengetahui efektivitas mesin chiller apakah masih sesuai dengan desain awalnya yang di set point untuk temperature water chiller outnya di 80C. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada hari jumat 4 Juni 2021 – sabtu, 5 Juni 2021 diperoleh nilai temperature air pendinginan rata-rata di 7,40C. Hal ini menandakan kinerja pendinginan masih baik. Kata kunci : Temperatur air pendinginan, Perpindahan panas ABSTRACT MRI machine is a medical device that plays an important role in a hospital, because it functions as a diagnostic tool for doctors in determining health problems and finding the right treatment for patients. In operation, the MRI machine requires a chiller to keep the helium in the MRI machine cool. For example, the MRI machine at Brawijaya Saharjo Hospital uses 2 water cooled chiller units with a capacity of 35 kW each. The incompatibility of the operating pattern of the refrigeration system at the time of design with the actual situation is one of the causes of the high consumption of electrical energy. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the effectiveness of the refrigeration system in order to determine whether the energy used is efficient. The data taken is the temperature of the water chiller in and out as well as the pressure of the water chiller in and out by direct observation of the chiller control panel every 1 hour for 24 hours. In this project, the author wants to know whether the effectiveness of the chiller machine is still in accordance with the initial design which was set point for the chiller water temperature out at 80C. The results of research conducted on Friday, June 4, 2021 - Saturday, June 5, 2021, obtained the average cooling water temperature at 7.40C. This indicates that the cooling performance is still good.
