Abstract
The growth of smartphone and the high number of smartphone as information tools , made many application instant messaging as to a choice variety. A telegram, instant messaging as an application that offer functionality than the express message application, other instant messaging so as to be one of the largest instant messaging users. One of the features is a telegram boots , the account without the number that is able to deal with an order of the user with the response given in based on functionality , account would serve as an interface system walk communicating telegram API bot. This study aims to build a telegram bot that is in the implementation on a flood alarm , this method in select because bot able to send a message with a faster time delay so that data that is in give in accordance with disallow module loading that is , and with the operational budget which cheaper than the express using sms gateway. Key words : telegram messenger, telegram bot, alarm flood Pesatnya perkembangan smartphone dan tingginya jumlah smartphone sebagai alat bantu informasi, membuat banyak aplikasi pesan instan dengan berbagai pilihan. Telegram, sebagai aplikasi pesan instan yang menawarkan fungsionalitas di bandingkan pesan aplikasi pesan instan lainnya, sehingga menjadi salah satu aplikasi pesan instan dengan pengguna terbanyak. Salah satu keunggulan fiturnya adalah telegram bot, yaitu akun tanpa nomor yang dapat menangani perintah dari pengguna dengan memberikan tanggapan berdasarkan fungsionalitas perintah yang di berikan, akun tersebut berfungsi sebagai antarmuka sistem yang berjalan yang berkomunikasi melalui telegram bot API. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun telegram bot yang di implementasikan pada alat alarm banjir, metode ini di pilih karena bot dapat mengirimkan pesan dengan delay waktu yang lebih cepat sehingga data yang di berikan sesuai dengan realtime yang ada, dan dengan biaya operasional yang lebih murah di bandingkan dengan mengguanakan sms gateway.
