Abstract

issuance of Permenaker no 2 of 2022 concerning Procedures and Requirements for Payment of Jaminan Hari Tua (JHT) surprised many parties, especially workers participating in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and workers. The plan for implementing this new regulation had actually surfaced since last October, but at that time not much response had emerged. The purpose of this study was to find out news comparisons about the coverage of Jaminan Hari Tua on the news portals Kompas.com and CNNIndonesia.com in the period 20 February – 22 February 2022. In this study, researchers will use the Robert N. Entman model framing analysis study and use two subjects. online news portals namely Kompas.com and CNNIndonesia.com. Observation data collection techniques for news headlines Kompas.com and CNNIndonesia.com. From the results of observations and analysis by researchers, the online media kompas.com and cnnindonesia.com both raised the news on the issue of terms for disbursing the Jaminan Hari Tua, as the topic of choice and headlines on each of the online media news sites. This means that the news published on the Jaminan Hari Tua in the time frame of 20-22 February 2022 is the top priority for the two online media, to make information that will be presented later Kompas.com and CNNindonesia.com online media are online media that side with the government regarding the procedure for disbursing Jaminan Hari Tua funds. In their reporting, Kompas.com and CNNIndonesia.com are more likely to publish news about the government's steps in suppressing protests from workers Keywords: Framing, Kompas.com and CNNindonesia, News Terbitnya Permenaker no 2 tahun 2022 Tentang Tata Cara Dan Persyaratan Pembayaran Manfaat Jaminan Hari Tua (JHT) mengejutkan banyak pihak, terutama para pekerja peserta BPJS Ketenagakerjaan dan kalangan serikat pekerja . Rencana pemberlakuan aturan baru ini sesungguhnya sudah sempat mengemuka sejak Oktober tahun lalu, tetapi saat itu belum banyak respon yang muncul. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui komparasi berita tentang pemberitaan Jaminan Hari Tua di portal berita Kompas.com dan CNNIndonesia.com pada periode 20 Februari – 22 Februari 2022. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti akan menggunakan studi analisis framing model Robert N. Entman serta menggunakan subjek dua portal berita online yaitu Kompas.com dan CNNIndonesia.com. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi kepada headline erita Kompas.com dan CNNIndonesia.com. Dari hasil pengamatan dan analisis peneliti, media online kompas.com dan cnnindonesia.com sama-sama mengangkat pemberitaan isu syarat mencairkan Jaminan hari Tua, sebagai topik pilihan dan headline pada masing-masing situs berita media online tersebut. Artinya pemberitaan yang bersangkutan dengan Jaminan Hari Tua pada rentang waktu tanggal 20-22 Februari 2022 ini, menjadi prioritas utama kedua media online tersebut, untuk menjadikan sebuah informasi yang nantinya akan disajikan Media online kompas.com dan CNNindonesia.com adalah media online yang berpihak ke pemerintah tentang kasus tata cara pencairan dana Jaminan Hari Tua. Dalam pemberitaanya, Kompas.com dan CNNIndonesia.com lebih cenderung memuat berita bagaimana langkah pemerintah dalam meredakan protes dari para pakerja Kata Kunci : Framing, Kompas.com dan CNNindonesia, Berita
