Abstract
Water is an important source of life that is very useful in meeting all the needs of humans and other living things. One source of fresh water that can be used by living things comes from springs. For the utilization of water suitable for use as Ecotourism (ecotourism) is one form of tourism by 'selling' the beauty of the natural environment such as 'embungs', valleys, rivers, mountain panorama with cool air, beaches, waterfalls and the beauty of coral reef fauna at sea to tourists. The Embung Area is not only a place for collecting rainwater and channeling the distribution of the trenches, but is also being utilized by the government to become a Recreation Area that develops for the activities of Adolescents, Parents and the Elderly. Keywords: Embung, Recreation Area, Utilization, Youth. Air merupakan sumber kehidupan penting yang sangat bermanfaat dalam pemenuhan segala kebutuhan manusia dan makhluk hidup lainnya. Salah satu sumber air tawar yang dapat dimanfaatkan makhluk hidup berasal dari mata air. Untuk Pemanfaatan air yang cocok digunakan sebagai Ekowisata (ecotourism) merupakan salah satu bentuk pariwisata dengan cara ‘menjual’ keindahan lingkungan alam seperti ’embung’, lembah, sungai, panorama pegunungan yang udaranya sejuk, pantai, air terjun dan keindahan fauna terumbu karang di laut kepada para wisatawan. Kawasan Embung ini bukan hanya sebagai sarana penampungan air hujan dan penyaluran distribusi parit namun pemanfaataan kembali oleh pemerintah menjadi Kawasan Rekreasi yang berkembang untuk aktivitas Remaja, Orang Tua hingga Lansia.
