Abstract

donesia, one of the Indonesian government-owned airline companies. PT GMF Aero Asia Tbk is a company engaged in the field of aircraft maintenance services that is profit oriented in each of its projects. Where from the period January 1 2021 - December 31 2021 of a total of 119 Narrow Body aircraft maintenance projects, 56 of them experienced delays. With this phenomenon, this study aims to find out what factors cause delays in the aircraft maintenance process and provide recommendations for improvements so that aircraft maintenance projects can be completed on time using the 5 Why's Analysis method, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA and 5W+1H analysis . The results obtained show that the most dominant cause of delay is by using the Pareto diagram, which is due to the Quality Check and/or Customer Check process with 29 incidents. Then the recommendation obtained to reduce the risk of delay in the Quality Check and/or Customer Check process is to make SOPs for the Quality Check and/or Customer Check process, this is intended so that the process is carried out according to standards and as expected by the customer. Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF) Aero Asia merupakan anak perusahaan PT Garuda Indonesia, salah satu perusahaan penerbangan milik pemerintah Republik Indonesia. PT GMF Aero Asia Tbk merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang jasa perawatan pesawat udara yang berorientasi profit pada setiap projek nya. Dimana dari periode 1 Januari 2021 – 31 Desember 2021 dari total 119 projek perawatan pesawat Narrow Body, 56 projek diantara nya mengalami keterlambatan. Dengan fenomena tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu faktor-faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan keterlambatan pada proses perawatan pesawat udara dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan agar projek perawatan pesawat bisa di selesaikan dengan tepat waktu dengan menggunakan metode 5 Why’s Analysis, Diagram Fishbone,FMEA dan Analisa 5W+1H . Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan penyebab keterlambatan paling dominan dengan menggunakan diagram pareto yaitu disebabkan pada proses Quality Check and/or Customer Check dengan 29 kali kejadian. Maka rekomendasi yang diperoleh untuk mengurangi resiko delay pada proses Quality Check and/or Customer Check adalah dengan membuatkan SOP pada proses Quality Check and/or Customer Check, hal ini bertujuan agar proses yang dilakukan sesuai standar dan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan dengan customer.
