Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Return On Assets (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Cash Flow, and Firm Size on predictions of Financial Distress in Retail Trading Sub-Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. The sample used in this study were 10 retail companies. The sampling method used in this study is a purposive sampling technique, namely taking the sample with certain considerations and meeting the specified criteria. The data collection method uses secondary data, namely by looking at financial performance information on the financial statements of Retail Trading Sub-Sector Companies listed on the IDX for the 2016-2020 period. The data processing method in this study is using the panel data regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Return On Assets (ROA) has a significant positive effect on Financial Distress, Current Ratio (CR) and Cash Flow have no effect on Financial Distress, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Firm Size have a significant negative effect on Financial Distress. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Return On Assets (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Arus Kas, dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap prediksi Financial Distress pada Perusahaan Sub Sektor Perdagangan Ritel yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2020. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 10 perusahaan Ritel. Metode penarikan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik purposive sampling, yaitu pengambilan sampelnya dengan pertimbangan tertentu dan memenuhi kriteria yang ditentukan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan data sekunder, yaitu dengan melihat informasi kinerja keuangan pada laporan keuangan Perusahaan Sub Sektor Perdagangan Ritel yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2016-2020. Metode pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan Analisis Regresi Data Panel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Return On Asset (ROA) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Financial Distress, Current Ratio (CR) dan Arus Kas tidak berpengaruh terhadap Financial Disress, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) dan Ukuran Perusahaan berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap Financial Distress. Kata Kunci : Return On Assets, Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Arus Kas, Ukuran Perusahaan, Financial Distress.
