Abstract

Information systems have a very important role in an organization or company. Information systems have a role in supporting operational business activities, supporting management in decision making, and supporting competitive strategic advantages. The use of information systems can facilitate the control of every activity that takes place within the company. There are problems faced by test laboratory companies regarding uncontrolled data recordings such as human error in calculating the reduction of raw material data so that there are several processes that are hampered or cannot be carried out properly and efficiently. Therefore, with this research we intend to find out running business processes to reduce these problems. The methodology that we use is data collection based on observation and interview data, system development using the SCRUM model and System Usability Scale as an indicator of the feasibility of the system, the implementation of the system that we do using black box testing, the conclusion of our research is making the "E-Labs Kimia" logbook application. The web-based system for the test laboratory went well using the SCRUM development model, the implementation of the application system went well without any system errors using Black Box testing, thus we took the title for the results of this report "Design and Implementation of an Inventory Management Information System for Test Laboratory Raw Materials (Case Study: PT Ecostar Laboratories)”. Keywords: research, inventory, information system design, stakeholders, test laboratory Sistem informasi memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam sebuah organisasi atau perrusahaan. Sistem informasi memiliki peran dalam menunjang kegiatan bisnis operasional, menunjang manajemen dalam pengembilan keputusan, dan menunjang keunggulan strategis kompetitif. Penggunaan sistem informasi dapat memudahkan kontrol setiap aktivitas yang berlangsung dalam perusahaan. Adanya masalah yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan laboratorium uji mengenai rekaman data yang kurang terkontrol seperti human error dalam perhitungan pengurangan data bahan baku sehingga terjadi beberapa proses yang terhambat atau tidak dapat dilakukan secara baik dan efisien, Oleh karena itu, dengan adanya penelitian ini kami bermaksud ingin mengetahui proses bisnis yang berjalan untuk dapat mengurangi masalah tersebut. Adapun methodologi yang kami gunakan adalah pengumpulan data berdasarkan data observasi dan wawancara, pembangunan sistem menggunakan model SCRUM serta System Usability Scale sebagai indikator kelayakan sistem, implementasi sistem yang kami lakukan menggunakan pengujian black box, kesimpulan dari penelitian kami pembuatan aplikasi logbook “E-Labs Kimia” berbasis web untuk laboratorium uji berjalan dengan baik menggunakan model pengembangan SCRUM, implementasi sistem aplikasi berjalan baik tanpa ada error sistem menggunakan pengujian Black Box, dengan demikian kami mengambil judul untuk hasil laporan ini adalah “Perancangan dan Implementasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Persediaan Bahan Baku Laboratorium Uji (Studi Kasus: PT Ecostar Laboratories)”.
