Abstract

Based on engineering data from 2018 to 2022, the Boeing 777-300ER's HPSOV (High Pressure Shut Off Valve) engine component had been damaged 25 (twenty-five) times, ranking fifth among the top ten levels of aircraft delay. Preventive maintenance is required to lower component failure, and component inventory planning is necessary to avoid interfering with the aircraft's operational procedures. In order to ascertain the dependability of the HPSOV component with part number 3215302-5 on the GE90 Engine, many experiments were conducted in this study. First, the pneumatic regulation functional test was performed on a failed HPSOV component utilizing a pneumatic valve test stand. The results of the downstream regulated pressure measurement are inaccurate. The pressure gage should read between 64 and 76 PSIG, but the figure only displays 54,6 to 61,5 PSIG after ten times tested. After investigation, it was determined that bearing corrosion and worn seals on the piston actuator were the root causes. Then, 25 (twenty-five) component damage data were processed using the Microsoft Excel and Minitab software to perform the reliability test using the Weibull distribution method. Compared to the maintenance program, which specifies that the HPSOV component maintenance threshold interval is at the age of 24000 FH, the result of the Mean Time to Failure value of the components obtained is at 18428 FH (flight hours). This makes sense because the components are also impacted by the aircraft's condition, which includes the weather, climate, and delays in maintenance. so that the Poisson distribution method is also used to calculate the component availability. The findings are (n) = 2 (two) after computations to reach a confidence level of more than 90%. This entails that the corporation must have at least two units of the HPSOV component available to enable the aircraft's efficient operation. Keywords: High Pressure Shut-Off Valve, HPSOV, GE-90, Boeing 777 Berdasarkan data engineering sejak 2018 hingga 2022 telah terjadi kerusakan pada komponen HPSOV(High Pressure Shut Off Valve) engine GE90 pesawat Boeing 777- 300ER sebanyak 25 (dua puluh lima) kali yang masuk peringkat kelima dalam sepuluh besar tingkat delay pesawat. Untuk mengurangi kegagalan komponen maka harus dilakukan perawatan preventif serta dilakukan perencanaan persediaan komponen agar tidak mengganggu proses operasional pesawat. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini dilakukan beberapa pengujian untuk mengetahui keandalan komponen HPSOV dengan part number 3215302-5 pada Engine GE90. Pertama dilakukan pneumatic regulation functional test pada komponen HPSOV yang mengalami kegagalan menggunakan alat uji Pneumatic Valve Test Stand. Hasil pengukuran downstream regulated pressure menunjukkan hasil yang tidak sesuai, nilai hanya menunjukan angka rata-rata 54,6 hingga 61.5 PSIG setelah dilakukan sepuluh kali pengujian, sedangkan pressure gage harus bernilai antara 64 hingga 76 PSIG. Setelah dilakukan analisis, ditemukan bahwa penyebabnya adalah Sealing Piston Actuator yang haus dan bearing yang mengalami korosi. Kemudian analisis keandalan menggunakan metode distribusi weibull dilakukan dengan mengolah 25 (dua puluh lima) data kerusakan komponen melalui aplikasi microsoft excel dan minitab. Hasil nilai Mean Time to Failure komponen yang diperoleh adalah pada 18428 FH (flight hours), cukup berbeda jika mengacu pada maintenance program yang menyebutkan bahwa interval threshold perawatan komponen HPSOV adalah pada usia 24000 FH. Ini wajar karena faktor kondisi pada saat pesawat terbang mengalami berbagai macam kondisi udara, cuaca, iklim, serta faktor keterlambatan perawatan juga berpengaruh terhadap komponen. Sehingga dilakukan juga perhitungan ketersediaan komponen menggunakan metode distribusi poisson. Hasil yang diperoleh dari perhitungan untuk mencapai confidence level > 90% adalah (n) = 2 (dua). Artinya ketersediaan komponen HPSOV yang harus dipersiapkan oleh perusahaan setidaknya minimal 2 (dua) unit untuk menunjang kelancaran proses operasional pesawat.
