Abstract

AMO Learning Services is a department that manages training for all employees in the company. As for instructors who teach, a license is required as legality as an instructor. The mechanism for applying for an instructor license has not fully utilized existing technology or it can be said that it still uses a manual process which takes quite a long time, resulting in waste in the instructor license application process. Therefore it is necessary to identify during the instructor license application process to analyze value-added and non-value-added activities. Identification was carried out using the Value Stream Mapping method. The initial stage is in Value Stream Mapping, namely by making the current state mapping of the current instructor license application and then making the future state mapping. The results obtained from making the current state mapping where the lead time is 4993 minutes or approximately 10 days. After that, identify the waste during the process of submitting instructor license activities and efforts to improve it by making a future state mapping. The lead time results from the Future state mapping are 2541 minutes or approximately 5 days. The concept of improvement that can be recommended is to choose one of the planners as the PIC to work on instructor licenses, make regulations/SOPs for applying for instructor licenses and being able to create a special web-based application for applying for instructor licenses. Keyword : waste, current state mapping, future state mapping AMO Learning Services merupakan department yang mengelola training seluruh karyawan diperusahaan. Adapun instruktur yang mengajar diperlukan lisensi sebagai legalitas sebagai instruktur. Mekanisme pengajuan lisensi instruktur belum sepenuhnya memanfaatkan teknologi yang ada atau dapat dikatakan masih menggunakan proses manual yang memerlukan waktu cukup lama maka mengakibatkan waste pada proses pengajuan lisensi instruktur. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan identifikasi selama proses pengajuan lisensi instruktur untuk manganalisis aktivitas bernilai tambah dan tidak bernilai tambah. Identifikasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Value Stream Mapping. Tahap awal yaitu dalam Value Stream Mapping yaitu dengan membuat current state mapping pengajuan lisensi instruktur saat ini kemudian membuat future state mapping. Hasil yang didapatkan dari pembuata current state mapping dimana lead time sebesar 4993 menit atau kurang lebih 10 hari. Setelah itu melakukan identifikasi terhadap waste selama proses aktivitas pengajuan lisensi instruktur dan upaya perbaikan dengan cara pembuatan future state mapping. Hasil lead time dari Future state mapping yaitu 2541 menit atau kurang lebih 5 hari. Konsep perbaikan yang dapat direkomendasikan yaitu dengan memilih salah satu dari planner sebagai PIC untuk mengerjakan lisensi instruktur, membuat regulasi/SOP pengajuan lisensi instruktur dan dapat membuat aplikasi berbasis web khusus untuk pengajuan lisensi instruktur.
