Abstract
Roads are important transportation infrastructure in many regions because it will speed up the development and growth of an area. But this infrastructure was often found in the damaged or worn-out condition. Such damages were the potholes, cracks, grain discharges, and collapses. The damage to the road at the surface layer resulted in a decrease in service levels. This study collected the data in the form of road dimensions, types of damage, and dimensions of damage. The data were collected using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method. Secondary data was needed as supporting data. Data were analyzed by assessing road conditions including Density, Deduct value, Total deduct value, and Corrected deduct value. Data analysis was also carried out on the maintenance and rehabilitation according to SKBI 2.3.26.1987. The results showed the damages occurred on the Weleri - Rowosari Highway, Kendal, STA 00 + 000 to STA 02 + 000 were cracks, perforation, collapses, grain discharges, swelling. The level of damage based on the average value of PCI was MEDIUM (FAIR). The value of the pavement conditions based on the calculation of PCI was 43.2%. The methods to handle the damage in Weleri - Rowosari Highway were Redesign the Pavement Road and pavement thickening (overlaying). Keywords : PCI, Highway, Pavement Damages Jalan raya merupakan salah satu pendukung prasarana transportasi di setiap daerah karena prasarana ini yang akan mempercepat perkembangan dan pertumbuhan suatu daerah. Namun seringkali prasarana ini seringkali mengalami kerusakan. Jenis kerusakan yang biasanya terjadi adalah berupa lubang (pothole), retak (crack), pelepasan butir dan amblas. Adanya kerusakan jalan pada lapisan permukaan tersebut mengakibatkan menurunnya tingkat pelayanan. Data-data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang berupa dimensi jalan, jenis kerusakan, dimensi kerusakan dan data kerusakan jalan metode (PCI). Selain itu diperlukan juga data sekunder sebagai data pendukung dalam pengolahan data. Prosedur analisis data dilakukan dengan menilai kondisi jalan yang meliputi Density, Deduct value, Total deduct value dan Correted deduct value. Analisis data juga dilakukan pada pemeliharaan dan rebilitasi mengacu pada SKBI 2.3.26.1987.. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data Jenis Kerusakan yang terjadi pada ruas Jalan Weleri – Rowosari, Kendal STA 00+000 s/d STA 02+000 adalah Retak Kulit Buaya, Berlubang, Amblas, Pelepasan Butir, dan Mengembang(Jembul). Tingkat kerusakan berdasarkan nilai rata-rata PCI untuk ruas Jalan Weleri – Rowosari, Kendal STA 00+000s/d 02+000 adalah SEDANG (FAIR). Nilai kondisi perkerasan berdasarkan perhitunganpavement condition index (PCI) STA 00+000 s/d 02+000 adalah 43,2 %. Penanganan kerusakan pada ruas Jalan Weleri – Rowosari dengan Redesign Perkerasan Jalan dan adanya penambahan tebal perkerasan (overlay). Kata kunci : PCI, Jalan Raya, Kerusakan Jalan
