Abstract

In fulfilling the operational activities of companies that have deficiencies in the regeneration of ceryifying staff, it is hoped that they will be able to continue to provide good maintenance for various operators. For the sake of realizing this, it is necessary to have an acceleration program. Acceleration Program is a program in which some non-absolute processes or requirements are eliminated or shortened so that the process of making a new Aircraft Certifying Staff license is quickly issued and personnel work immediately and produce productivity that is profitable for the company. Research with the title "Improvement of the Aircraft Certification Process Acceleration Program Using the DMAIC Method at PT. GMF Aeroasia, Tbk”, this study focuses on the shortcomings of the assessment process for the accelerated staff certification program, a form of improvement in the assessment process. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the causes of deficiencies in the accelerated staff certification program. As well as making recommendations for improving the acceleration program. The Aircraft Certifying Staff Acceleration Program has several drawbacks, but there are also advantages compared to the usual regular programs. One of them is more fulfillment of licensed manpower which can increase the productivity of aircraft maintenance. However, a significant drawback is that some personnel have less experience than the regular program. This means that at the end of this research it is necessary to improve the accelerated program for certifying staff to further extend the time on job training before the issuance of the Aircraft Certifying Staff license. Keywords: Aircraft Certified Staff, Acceleration Program, DMAIC Dalam memenuhi kegiatan operasional perusahaan yang memiliki kekurangan dalam regenerasi ceryifiying staff ini diharapkan mampu untuk tetap menyediakan maintenance dari berbagai operator dengan baik. Demi terwujudnya hal tersebut perlu dilakukan adanya program akselerasi. Program Akselerasi adalah sebuah program dimana beberapa proses atau persyaratan yang non mutlak itu ditiadakan atau dipersingkat agar proses pembuatan lisensi Aircraft Certifying Staff baru cepat diterbitkan dan personel segera bekerja dan menghasilkan produktifitas yang menguntungkan bagi perusahaan. Penelitian dengan judul “Perbaikan Program Akselerasi Proses Aircraft Certifiying Staff Dengan Metode DMAIC di PT. GMF Aeroasia, Tbk”, penelitian ini berfokus kepada kekurangan proses assesment program akselerasi certifiying staff, bentuk perbaikan pada proses assesment. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa penyebab kekurangan program akselerasi certifiying staff. Serta membuat rekomendasi perbaikan program akselerasi tersebut. Program Akselerasi Aircraft Certifying Staff memiliki beberapa kekurangan namun juga terdapat kelebihan dibandingkan dengan program reguler yang biasanya. Diantaranya lebih terpenuhinya man power berlisensi yang dapat meningkatkan produktifitas perawatan pesawat. Namun kekurangan yang signifikan terlihat adalah beberapa personil kurang memiliki pengalaman dari yang program reguler. Artinya dalam akhir penelitian ini perlu improvement terhadap program akselerasi certifiying staff tersebut untuk lebih diperpanjang waktu on job training sebelum terbitnya lisensi Aircraft Certifying Staff tersebut.
