Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) merupakan pembangkit yang memanfaatkan air untuk memutar turbin generator dan menghasilkan listrik. Untuk mendukung kestabilan putaran turbin, dibutuhkan sebuah sistem governor. Beban pada jaringan yang terdapat di sistem transmisi sering mengalami fluktuatif hingga lebih 10% dan membuat kerja sistem governor lebih tinggi. Hal ini menyebabkan sistem governor menjadi peralatan pembangkit yang berpotensi tinggi mengalami kerusakan dan memerlukan metode yang optimal dalam pemeliharaanya. Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) adalah metode yang banyak digunakan dalam aplikasi teknik untuk identifikasi dan penilaian kemungkinan kegagalan. Mode kegagalan dengan peringkat tertinggi kemudian di analisis. Namun metode ini memiliki keterbatasan dalam nomor prioritas kegagalan karena sifatnya bervariasi. Untuk mengatasi batasan ini maka dilakukan konfigurasi string fuzzy dengan sistem inferensi fuzzy berbasis pengetahuan. Penelitian ini berbentuk studi analisa, yang bertujuan untuk menerapkan FMEA dan Fuzzy untuk manajemen risiko pada Governor yang digunakan di Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air. Terdapat tiga puluh mode kegagalan potensial yang telah diidentifikasi dengan dua alat governor yang berbeda merk maupun spesifikasi. Kemudian mode kegagalan tersebut diprioritaskan berdasarkan system interference fuzzy. Hasil penelitiannya adalah didapatkan data prioritas risiko kegagalan pada metode Fuzzy-FMEA dan dapat dijadikan pertimbangan untuk mengembangkan pencegahan kegagalan Governor di masa depan. Kata Kunci: Governor, Fuzzy Logic, FMEA Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA) is a generator that utilizes water to turn a turbine generator and generate electricity. To support the stability of the turbine rotation, a governor system is needed. The load on the network contained in the transmission system often fluctuates by more than 10% and makes the governor system work higher. This causes the governor system to become a generating equipment that has a high potential for damage and requires an optimal method of maintenance. Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a method widely used in engineering applications for the identification and assessment of possible failures. The most efficient default mode is then analyzed. However, this method has limitations in the priority number of failures due to its variable nature. Configuration is carried out fuzzy string with fuzzy inference system knowledge based. This research is in the form of an analytical study, which aims to apply FMEA and Fuzzy for risk management to Governors used in Hydroelectric Power Plants. There are thirty potential failure modes that have been identified with two governors of different brands and specifications. Then the failure mode is prioritized based on the fuzzy interference system. The result of the research is that the priority data on the risk of failure is obtained with the Fuzzy-FMEA method and can be used as a consideration to develop the prevention of failure of the Governor in the future.
