Abstract

PT. Telkom, the Network Division of the Central Jakarta area, is engaged in telecommunications and has a main job, namely Operations and Maintenance of equipment. To carry out Operations and Maintenance is arranged in the form of a work program. The achievement of the desired work program has not been fully achieved, there are many factors that make the achievement of the work program not able to achieve the desired target, the problem that occurs is the obstacle in monitoring so many work programs in submitting, implementing and reporting the results of the implementation of work programs, The purpose of this study was to build a web-based work program monitoring information system and to make it easier to monitor work programs at PT. Telkom Central Jakarta Area Network Division, so that it can provide data processing in the work program monitoring process, able to build system design in data storage in the database and be able to produce the required information accurately and efficiently, according to management needs. The research method includes direct observation and interviews, and indirectly with literature studies with relevant sources. To analyze the needs of information systems in this study, including problem identification with the analysis framework PIECES, Cause and Effect analysis and the root of the problem with the solution. System design techniques use the (OOD) method Object Oriented Design and Tools (UML) Unified Modeling Language. The development method used in this research is to use the method Waterfall, where the concept of this development method is to see a problem systematically and structurally from beginning to end Key words: PT. Telkom Division Network area, information systems, work program monitoring, Waterfall PT. Telkom Divisi Network area Jakarta pusat, bergerak di bidang telekomunikasi dan memiliki pekerjaan utama yaitu Operasional dan Maintenance perangkat, Untuk melaksanakan Operasional dan Maintenance disusun dalam bentuk program kerja. Pencapaian program kerja yang diinginkan belum bisa tercapai sepenuhnya, banyak faktor yang membuat pencapaian Program kerja tersebut belum bisa mencapai sesuai target yang diinginkan, masalah yang terjadi adalah terkendalanya memonitoring program kerja yang begitu banyak dalam pengajuan, pelaksanaan maupun dalam pelaporan hasil dari pelaksanaan program kerja, Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun sistem informasi monitoring program kerja berbasis web serta mempermudah dalam memonitoring program kerja pada PT. Telkom Divisi Network area Jakarta pusat, Sehingga bisa menyediakan pengolahan data pada proses monitoring program kerja, mampu membangun perancangan sistem dalam penyimpanan data didatabase dan mampu menghasilkan informasi yang dibutuhkan secara baik akurat dan efisien, sesuai dengan kebutuhan manajemen. Metode penelitiannya meliputi secara langsung dengan pengamatan dan wawancara, serta secara tidak langsung dengan studi pustaka dengan sumber yang relevan. Untuk menganalisis kebutuhan sistem informasi dalam penelitian ini, mencakup identifikasi masalah dengan kerangka analisis PIECES, analisis Sebab Akibat serta Akar masalah dengan solusinya.Teknik perancangan sistem menggunakan metode (OOD) Object Oriented Design dan Tools (UML) Unified Modelling Language. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode Waterfall, dimana konsep dari metode pengembangan ini adalah melihat suatu masalah secara sistematis dan terstruktur dari awal hingga akhir.
