Abstract

Trust As a Mediator The physical environment, promotion, and education costs are one of the main factors influencing parents in choosing a school for their children so that it has an impact on the number of new students entering Al-Hikmah Curug Vocational High School for the last 3 (three) years starting in the 2018 school year fluctuatingly decreased. This research aims: (1). to find out and analyze the influence of trust as a mediator the physical environment on the beliefs of students' parents in determining education at Al-Hikmah Curug Vocational High School, (2). to find out and analyze the influence of sales promotions on the trust of students' parents in determining education at Al-Hikmah Curug Vocational High School, (3). to find out and analyze the effect of education costs on the trust of students' parents in determining education at Al-Hikmah Curug Vocational High School, (4). to find out and analyze the physical environment influences the decisions of parents of students in determining education at SMK Al-Hikmah Curug, (5). to find out and analyze the effect of promotions on the decisions of parents of students in determining education at SMK Al-Hikmah Curug, (6). to find out and analyze the effect of education costs on the decisions of parents of students in determining education at Al-Hikmah Curug Vocational High School, (7). to find out and analyze the effect of trust on the decisions of students' parents in determining education at Al-Hikmah Curug Vocational High School, (8). to know and analyze the influence of the physical environment on decisions through trust, (9). to know and analyze the effect of promotion on decisions through Trust, and (10). to find out and analyze the effect of education costs on decisions through Trust. This type of research used descriptive quantitative and associative methods and data analysis techniques using Smart PLS software. The results of the study include: the physical environment, promotion, educational costs influence parents' decisions in choosing a school at SMK Al-Hikmah Curug. Kepercayaan sebagai mediator Lingkungan fisik, promosi, dan biaya pendidikan menjadi salah satu faktor utama yang mempengaruhi orang tua Siswa dalam menentukan sekolah untuk anak-anaknya sehingga berdampak pada jumlah Siswa baru yang masuk pada SMK Al-Hikmah Curug selama 3 (tiga) tahun terakhir mulai tahun ajaran 2018 mengalami penurunan secara fluktuatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1). untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kepercayaan sebagai mediator pengaruh lingkungan fisik terhadap kepercayaan orang tua Siswa dalam menentukan pendidikan di SMK Al-Hikmah Curug, (2). untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh promosi penjualan terhadap kepercayaan orang tua Siswa dalam menentukan pendidikan di SMK Al-Hikmah Curug, (3). untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh biaya pendidikan terhadap kepercayaan orang tua Siswa dalam menentukan pendidikan di SMK Al-Hikmah Curug, (4). untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis lingkungan fisik berpengaruh terhadap keputusan orang tua Siswa dalam menentukan pendidikan di SMK Al-Hikmah Curug, (5). untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh promosi terhadap keputusan orangtua Siswa dalam menentukan pendidikan di SMK Al-Hikmah Curug, (6). untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh biaya pendidikan terhadap keputusan orang tua Siswa dalam menentukan pendidikan di SMK Al-Hikmah Curug, (7). untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kepercayaan terhadap keputusan orang tua Siswa dalam menentukan Pendidikan di SMK Al-Hikmah Curug, (8). untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan fisik terhadap keputusan melalui kepercayaan, (9). untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh promosi terhadap keputusan melalui kepercayaan, dan (10). untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh biaya pendidikan terhadap keputusan melalui kepercayaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan metode asosiatif dan teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan software Smart PLS. Hasil penelitian antara lain: lingkungan fisik, promosi, biaya pendidikan mempengaruhi keputusan para orang tua dalam menentukan sekolah di SMK Al-Hikmah Curug.
