Abstract

This study aims to solve the problem of duplication of population data, and speed up the process of public services at the Wali Nagari Pasia office. The data collection method is done by interview, and the software development method uses the waterfall method. The results of this study are web-based applications that can be used to manage population data and public services. The application will issue a rejection message as long as the data submitted during the process of input or update data is a duplicate data. To carry out public services, population data stored in the application can be used to make letters, simply by adding the date of the letter, the number of the letter, and the applicant's national identity number (NIN) in the public services menu, the letter is ready to be printed. Keywords: Population Data, Waterfall, Database, Web, Duplicate Data Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memecahkan masalah duplikasi data kependudukan, dan mempercepat proses pelayanan umum pada kantor Wali Nagari Pasia. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, dan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak menggunakan metode waterfall. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah berupa aplikasi berbasis web yang dapat digunakan untuk mengelola data kependudukan dan pelayanan umum. Aplikasi akan mengeluarkan pesan penolakan selama data yang disubmit saat proses tambah atau ubah data merupakan data yang duplikat. Untuk melakukan pelayanan umum, data kependudukan yang tersimpan di aplikasi dapat digunakan untuk membuat surat, cukup dengan menambahkan tanggal surat, nomor surat, dan Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK) pemohon di menu pelayanan umum, maka surat sudah siap diprint.
