Abstract

Setiap orang memiliki kesempatan yang sama dalam bekerja, akan tetapi sebagian orang mengalami diagnosa penyakit yang dapat menghambatnya untuk bekerja bahkan bersosialisasi dengan lingkungan. Skizofrenia merupakan salah satu gangguan jiwa berat yang dapat membuat pengidapnya kehilangan jati diri, sulit beradaptasi dengan lingkungan serta sulitnya kembali mendapatkan pekerjaan. Dengan itu dibutuhkannya suatu kemampuan diri untuk bisa menghdapi gejala yang timbul untuk bisa tetap berdampingan dalam menjalani kehidupan dan pulih sediakala. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian terdapat tiga orang pengidap Skizofrenia. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara semi terstruktur dan significant others subjek. Data di analisis menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ke-tiga subjek mengalami beberapa aspek Self-Compassion. Ketiga subjek juga memiliki pengalaman yang berbeda dalam menghadapi keseharian sebagai pengidap Skizofrenia dengan munculnya simtom-simtom yang menghambat dirinya dalam bekerja dan melakukan aktifitas lainnya. Ketiga subjek juga berusaha untuk selalu menjaga diri agar tidak menimbulkan kekambuhan. Ketiga subjek disini juga memiliki lika-liku dalam bekerja, tidak selalu ada pekerjaan dan harus menghadapi dunia pekerjaan yang kian meningkat. Secara umum, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ke-tiga subjek menggunakan beberapa aspek Self-Compassion pada dirinya untuk bisa membantunya bekerja ditengah penyakitnya sebagai pengidap Skizofrenia. Kata Kunci : Self-Compassion, Skizofrenia, Gangguan jiwa, Bekerja Everyone has the same opportunity to work, but some people experience a diagnosis of a disease that can prevent them from working and even socializing with the environment. Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder that can make sufferers lose their identity, find it difficult to adapt to the environment, and find it difficult to return to work. With that, it takes a self-ability to be able to deal with the symptoms that arise to be able to stay side by side in living life and recover at all times. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative research method approach with three people with schizophrenia as the research subjects. Data were obtained through semi-structured interviews and significant other subjects. Data were analyzed using source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the three subjects experienced several aspects of self- compassion. The three subjects also had different experiences in dealing with everyday life as a person with schizophrenia with the emergence of symptoms that hindered them from working and carrying out other activities. The three subjects also tried to always take care of themselves so as not to cause a relapse. The three subjects here also have twists and turns at work, there is not always a job and they have to face the increasing world of work. In general, this study concluded that the three subjects used several aspects of self-compassion in themselves to be able to help them work during their illness as a person with schizophrenia.
