Abstract

Distance relay is the main protection of transmission lines in 150 kV systems. Distance relay adjustment plays a very important role to obtain high reliability and selectivity of work to distribute electrical energy in continuity. Interference that occurs in Ancol substation can not be isolated by the existing relay on the conductor Ancol – Angke, this is caused by the setting value of the distance relay is not right so that the interference extends to the conductor Kemayoran – Ancol. This study aims to determine the range setting and trip delay time of each distance relay zone in order to work selectively by recalculating the impedance setting value of each zone on the high voltage conductor (SUTT) 150 kV Kemayoran - Ancol - Angke. In the existing distance relay settings applied in the conductor is not in accordance with the standards according to PLN, so it needs to be recalculated. After recalculation of relay settings, distance relay zone coverage Kemayoran-Ancol Zone 1 of 80.12%; Zone 2 amounted to 120.18% and Zone 3 amounted to 209.02%. Range zone distance relay AncolAngke Zone 1 by 80%; zone 2 by 120% and Zone 3 by 282.29% so that the distance relay works in accordance with the standards used as a reference. Keywords: transmission, transmission line, protection, distance relay, setting. Distance relay merupakan pengaman utama saluran transmisi pada sistem 150 kV. Penyetelan distance relay memegang peranan yang sangat penting untuk mendapatkan keandalan dan selektifitas kerja yang tinggi agar dapat menyalurkan energi listrik secara kontinuitas. Gangguan yang terjadi pada Gardu Induk Ancol tidak dapat diisolir oleh relay yang ada pada penghantar Ancol – Angke, hal ini disebabkan oleh nilai setelan dari distance relay tidak tepat sehingga gangguan meluas ke penghantar Kemayoran – Ancol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan setelan jarak jangkauan dan waktu tunda trip tiap zona distance relay agar dapat bekerja secara selektif dengan melakukan perhitungan ulang nilai setelan impedansi setiap zona pada penghantar Saluran Udara Tegangan Tinggi (SUTT) 150 kV Kemayoran - Ancol - Angke. Pada setelan eksisting distance relay yang diterapkan dalam penghantar tersebut belum sesuai dengan standar menurut PLN, sehingga perlu dilakukan perhitungan ulang. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan ulang setting relay, jangkauan zona distance relay Kemayoran - Ancol zona 1 sebesar 80,12%; zona 2 sebesar 120,18% dan zona 3 sebesar 209,02%. Jangkauan zona distance relay Ancol - Angke zona 1 sebesar 80%; zona 2 sebesar 120% dan zona 3 sebesar 282,29% sehingga distance relay bekerja sesuai dengan standar yang dijadikan referensi.
