Abstract
A quality product is determined by quality materials and human resources, the right process, and supported by sophisticated machines. Good maintenance will increase machine in the production process. This study discusses the efficiency of the FBD machine in the mixing process in the effervescent line using the OEE method. OEE is the measurement of the effectiveness of the use of a machine/equipment. The study was conducted in January - December 2018, based on calculations obtained an average OEE value of 80.05%. Six big losses analysis is identified to find the root of the problem. Based on the results, the most dominant losses are reduced speed losses and idling and minor stoppages losses with percentages 29.97% and 28.85%. The root causes are analyzed using fishbone chart and the most dominant factors causing losses is human factor, where there is a lack of training and awareness by operator. Improvement is identified with 5W+1H method that by providing training to operator. Keywords: OEE, Six Big Losses, Maintenance, Pareto Chart, Fishbone Chart, 5W + 1H Produk yang berkualitas ditentukan dengan bahan dan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, proses yang tepat, serta ditunjang oleh mesin yang canggih. Perawatan yang baik akan meningkatkan penggunaan mesin dalam proses produksi. Penelitian ini membahas efektivitas mesin Fluid Bed Dryer (FBD) pada proses compounding di line effervescent dengan menggunakan metode OEE. OEE ialah metode pengukuran tingkat efektivitas pemakaian suatu mesin/peralatan dengan menghitung ketersediaan mesin. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari - Desember 2018, berdasarkan perhitungan diperoleh rata-rata nilai OEE yaitu sebesar 80.05 %. Analisa six big losses diidentifikasi untuk mengetahui akar permasalahan. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi, jenis six big losses yang paling dominan ialah reduced speed losses dan iddling and minor stoppages losses dengan presentase 29.97% dan 28.55%. Akar penyebab dianalisa dengan menggunakan diagram fishbone, dan faktor yang paling dominan menyebabkan losses tersebut ialah faktor manusia, dimana kurangnya pelatihan dan kesadaran dari operator. Perbaikkan yang dilakukan diidentifikasi dengan metode 5W+1H, yaitu dengan memberikan pelatihan kepada operator. Kata kunci : OEE, Six Big Losses, Maintenance, Diagram pareto, Diagram Fishbone, 5W+1H
