Abstract

Lightning Arrester as a channel safety against lightning strikes and overvoltages. So that the insulation and grounding of the Lightning Arrester must be ensured to be in good condition in order to protect the equipment at the substation from overvoltage caused by survival. On this basis, the lightning arrester must comply with the standards and provisions applicable by conducting isolation prisoner testing. The Cilegon PLTGU Substation is a substation located on the coast where there is more lightning intensity. The substation operator is in charge of maintaining the equipment in optimal condition, in maintaining the substation equipment the operator conducts a checklist is one of the duties of the operator. While doing the checklist the operator found an anomaly, namely a color change in the post insulator lightning arrester bay new cilegon #1. According to PLN standards, it is necessary to test the isolation resistance on the lightning arrester post insulator. Post insulator insulation resistance testing using a Megger-branded isolation tester tool with a test voltage of 500-5000 VDC with above-ground, top-down and bottom ground test points. After testing, treatment is carried out on the post insulator that has changed color in accordance with applicable standards to get the desired isolation resistance value. After conducting tests that get the results of the top-ground phasa R 175 GΩ, phasa S 133 GΩ, phasa T 156 GΩ . Then testing the top-bottom ground phasa R 82 GΩ, phasa S 59 GΩ, phasa T 72 GΩ, and for the bottom-ground phasa R 0.5 MΩ, phasa S 0.8 MΩ and phasa T 0.6 MΩ, the value of the insulation resistance at that point has not met the standard and is below the minimum value (>1 MΩ / 1 kV). Because it is not in accordance with the standards, maintenance is needed on the post insulator. After treatment After treatment is carried out on the post insulator, the results of the down-ground point test at point R are 182 MΩ, phase S 174 MΩ, and phase T 179 MΩ it can be seen that the lightning arrester insulation resistance at the bottom-ground point is in good condition and above the standard minimum value.. Sehingga isolasi dan pentanahan Lightning Arrester harus dipastikan berada dalam kondisi baik agar dapat melindungi peralatan pada gardu induk dari tegangan lebih yang diakibatkan surja. Atas dasar tersebut lightning arrester harus sesuai dengan standar dan ketentuan yang berlaku dengan dilakukannya pengujian tahanan isolasi. Gardu Induk PLTGU Cilegon merupakan Gardu Induk yang terletak dipesisir pantai yang mana lebih banyak intesitas petirnya. Operator gardu induk bertugas menjaga peralatan agar dalam kondisi yang optimal, dalam menjaga peralatan gardu induk operator melakukan checklist merupakan salah satu tugas operator. Saat melakukan checklist operator menemukan sebuah anomali yaitu perubahan warna pada post isolator lightning arrester bay cilegon baru #1. Menurut standar PLN maka diperlukan pengujian tahanan isolasi pada post isolator lightning arrester. Pengujian tahanan isolasi post isolator menggunakan alat isolation tester bermerk Megger dengan tegangan uji 500-5000 VDC dengan titik pengujian atas-ground, atas-bawah dan bawah ground. Setelah melakukan pengujian dilakukan perawatan pada post isolator yang mengalami perubahan warna sesuai denganstandar yang berlaku untuk mendapatkan nilai tahanan isolasi yang di inginkan. Setelah melakukan pengujian yang mendapatkan hasil atas-ground phasa R 175 GΩ, phasa S 133 GΩ, phasa T 156 GΩ . Lalu pengujian bagian atas-bawah ground phasa R 82 GΩ, phasa S 59 GΩ, phasa T 72 GΩ, dan untuk bawah-ground phasa R 0.5 MΩ, phasa S 0.8 MΩ dan phasa T 0.6 MΩ, nilainya tahanan isolasi pada titik tersebut belum memenuhi standar dan berada dibawah nilai minimum (>1 MΩ / 1 kV). Karena tidak sesuai dengan standar maka diperlukan perawatan pada post isolator. Setelah dilakukan perawatan Setelah dilakukan perawatan pada post isolator hasil pengujian titik bawah-ground pada titik R sebesar 182 MΩ, fasa S 174 MΩ,dan fasa T 179 MΩ dapat diketahui bahwa tahanan isolasi lightning arrester pada titik bawah-ground sudah berada dalam kondisi baik dan diatas nilai minimum standard.
