Abstract

The semi-automatic and portable B3 waste water treatment tool is a tool designed to make a B3 wastewater treatment system at PT Jotun Powder Coating Indonesia, where the process is still manual, it is converted into a semi-automatic system that is easy for operators to use and can be moved (portable). The system contained in this tool consists of filling and mixing the coagulant materials of soda, alum and PAC. The coagulant volume value has 2 modes, namely manual and auto. In manual mode, the coagulant volume can be changed as desired. Whereas in auto mode, the coagulant volume will automatically be filled with a value of 3000 ml. Comparison of coagulant volume of soda, alum and PAC is 3:3:3. Manufacture of semi-automatic devices and systems in the B3 waste water treatment process using a water pump, solenoid valve and water flow sensor for the process of filling coagulant material into the IBC tub and using an electric mixer motor to mix the coagulant material with B3 waste water connected to a relay module. The use of the keypad module 4x4 functions to give commands to the system and adjust the desired volume of coagulant material. There is an indicator light as a marker when the system is working and a LCD 16x2 to display the process of the system. The research produced a semi-automatic and portable device for the B3 waste water treatment process. Based on the results of the coagulant filling test, the average percentage error and accuracy percentage for each coagulant material were obtained. For soda water flow sensors, the average percentage error is 1.10% and the percentage accuracy is 98.90%. As for the alum water flow sensor, the average percentage error is 1.26% and the percentage accuracy is 98.74%. Then for the PAC water flow sensor, the average percentage error is 1.20% and the percentage accuracy is 98.80%. The installation of the water pump must not be reversed because it will affect the results of the B3 waste water treatment. Alat pengolah air limbah B3 semi otomatis dan portabel merupakan sebuah alat yang dibuat untuk membuat sistem pengolahan air limbah B3 di PT Jotun Powder Coating Indonesia yang prosesnya masih manual diubah menjadi sistem semi otomatis yang mudah digunakan oleh operator serta dapat dipindah-pindahkan (portabel). Sistem yang terdapat pada alat ini terdiri dari proses filling dan mixing bahan koagulan soda, tawas dan PAC. Nilai volume bahan koagulan memiliki 2 mode yaitu manual dan auto. Pada mode manual volume koagulan dapat di ubah sesuai yang di inginkan. Sedangkan pada mode auto, maka volume koagulan akan otomatis terisi dengan nilai 3000 ml. Perbandingan volume koagulan soda, tawas dan PAC adalah 3:3:3. Pembuatan alat dan sistem semi otomatis pada proses pengolahan air limbah B3 menggunakan water pump, solenoid valve dan water flow sensor untuk proses pengisian bahan koagulan ke dalam bak IBC serta menggunakan motor mixer electric untuk mencampur bahan koagulan dengan air limbah B3 yang dihubungkan ke modul relay. Penggunaan modul keypad 4x4 berfungsi untuk memberikan perintah pada sistem dan mengatur volume bahan koagulan yang diinginkan. Terdapat lampu indikator sebagai penanda ketika sistem sedang bekerja dan LCD 16x2 untuk menampilkan proses dari sistem. Pada penelitian dihasilkan sebuah alat semi otomatis dan portable pada proses pengolahan air limbah B3. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian pengisian bahan koagulan diperoleh rata-rata prosentase error dan prosentase akurasi dari masingmasing bahan koagulan. Untuk water flow sensor soda rata-rata prosentase error sebesar 1,10 % dan prosentase akurasi 98,90%. Sedangkan untuk water flow sensor tawas rata-rata prosentase error sebesar 1,26% dan prosentase akurasi 98,74%. Kemudian untuk water flow sensor PAC rata-rata prosentase error sebesar 1,20% dan prosentase akurasi sebesar 98,80%. Pemasangan water pump tidak boleh terbalik karena akan mempengaruhi hasil dari pengolahan air limbah B3.
