Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor makroekonomi yang mempengaruhi Non-Performing Loan (NPL) pada perbankan berkepemilikan multinasional di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif kausalitas. Populasi penelitian meliputi 68 perusahaan bank umum swasta di Indonesia yang dimiliki oleh pihak asing yang bekerjasama dengan pihak lokal (kepemilikan multinasional). Sampel penelitian berjumlah 19 perusahaan dengan kriteria bank umum swasta di Indonesia yang dimiliki oleh pihak asing yang bekerjasama dengan pihak lokal (kepemilikan multinasional) dan terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode penelitian 2013-2021 dengan pihak asing sebagai kepemilikan saham mayoritas. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengambil data sekunder dari situs web yang publikasikan oleh Bursa Efek Indonesia, Bank Indonesia, Kementrian Perdagangan, global-rates, macrotrends, dan Badan Pusat Statistik. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Regresi Data Panel. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa inflasi, nilai tukar, suku bunga internasional, harga minyak mentah, dan ekspor tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap Non-Performing Loan (NPL) pada perbankan berkepemilikan multinasional di Indonesia. This research intends to analyze the macroeconomic factors affecting Non-Performing Loans (NPL) of the multinational ownership banking in Indonesia using the approach of quantitative to-causality. The population consists of 68 private commercial bank companies in Indonesia which are owned by foreign parties cooperated with local parties (multinational ownership). The research sample is 19 companies with the criteria of private commercial banks in Indonesia which are owned by foreign parties cooperated with local parties (multinational ownership) and listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013-2021 accompanied by foreign parties as the majority shareholder. Sample screening by purposive sampling method. The research data were obtained through secondary data from published websites on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Bank Indonesia, Ministry of Trade, Global-rates, Macrotrends, and the Central Statistics Agency. Then analyzed using the panel data regression analysis method. The results found that inflation, exchange rates, international interest rates, crude oil prices and exports had no effect on Non-Performing Loans (NPL) of multinational ownership banking in Indonesia.
