Abstract

The result of regenerative braking requires storage in the form of a battery so that it can be used again at a certain time. Batteries are one of the commonly used electrical energy storage media and have various provisions according to needs. To avoid overcharging and overdischarging the battery, a battery monitoring system is needed so that it can charge and discharge safely. In this study a battery monitoring measuring instrument was designed that can measure the estimated value of the State of Charge (SOC) of the battery. To obtain an initial estimate of the battery's SOC, then use the Coulomb Counting (CC) method to estimate the SOC when charging the battery. From the results of this study, when the value of the engine speed for the input voltage is greater, the charging time, the charge entering the battery, and the estimated change in SOC(t) are greater. Electric motorcycles are currently developing in the automotive industry. Because it is environmentally friendly and can save energy and long-term costs. Some of the problems in electric motorbikes are battery failure which will result in failure of the entire vehicle system. To avoid this, the battery must be used wisely, including estimating the state of charge (SOC) of electric motorbike performance so that the maximum rated usage is known and then determining where the battery must be recharged. Keywords : State of charge (SOC), Coloumb Counting, Baterai Lithium ion Hasil dari pengereman regeneratif membutuhkan tempat penyimpanan berupa baterai agar dapat digunakan kembali pada waktu tertentu. Baterai merupakan salah satu media penyimpan energi listrik yang umum digunakan dan memiliki berbagai ketentuan sesuai kebutuhan. Untuk menghindari terjadinya overcharge dan overdischarge pada baterai, dibutuhkan sistem monitoring baterai agar dapat melakukan pengisian dan pengosongan dengan aman. Pada penelitian ini dirancang alat ukur monitoring baterai yang dapat mengukur nilai estimasi State of Charge (SOC) baterai. Untuk memperoleh estimasi SOC awal baterai, kemudian menggunakan metode Coulomb Counting (CC)untuk estimasi SOC pada saat pengisian baterai. Dari hasil penelitian ini, ketika nilai kecepatan mesin untuk tegangan masukan semakin besar, maka waktu pengisian, muatan yang masuk ke baterai, dan perubahan estimasi SOC(t) semakin besar. Sepeda motor listrik sedang berkembang dalam industri otomotif saat ini. Karena ramah lingkungan dan dapat melakukan penghematan energi dan biaya jangka panjang. Beberapa masalah dalam sepeda motor listrik yaitu kegagalan baterai yang akan berakibat pada kegagalan keseluruhan sistem kendaraan. Untuk menghindari hal tersebut, baterai harus digunakan secara bijak di antaranya adalah estimasi state of charge (SOC) performa sepeda motor listrik agar diketahui maksimum pemakaian terukur kemudian menentukan di mana baterai tersebut harusdilakukan pengisian daya ulang.
