Abstract

The development of information technology and telecommunications is developing rapidly from generation to generation. The development of telecommunications technology has a large transmission capability, especially in terms of download and upload speeds, due to the large number of people's desires for network quality from providers that can be used smoothly and quickly, this is used by telecommunications companies to build faster Internet Service Providers (ISPs). There are differences in network quality between providers that trigger to test the quality of telecommunications networks by measuring with the drive test method. Drive test is one part of the work in radio or cellular network optimization. The drive test aims to collect real network information in the field. Drive tests are easier to implement and can be applied in a new material for the world of training, especially those who are pursuing the field of telecommunications. In line with the advancement of technology, the drive test can be applied more easily, namely using the Rohde &Scwarz device, namely FreeRider4 / FR-4 which has the advantages of multi-device and multi-technology which is portable and equipped with a tablet controller unit used to manage all tests. This study aims to analyze the Quality Of Service (QoS) of telecommunications networks using the drive test method using the Rohde &Scwarz device, namely FreeRider4 / FR-4 in the Denpasar City area. The research measured and observed and analyzed the quality of 2G, 3G, 4G telecommunications networks for all telecommunications operators using applications from the Rohde &Scwarz brand. For the field data retrieval process using the Qualipoc application, at the data processing stage using the SmartAnalitics application to process the data into data that can be analyzed. To monitor the process of retrieving field data, the author uses the SmartMonitor application. To be able to display visualizations of measurement data results and after the analysis process, the author uses the Mapinfo application. The results of the study can show the Executive Summary Condition Drive Test which includes coverage and quality values, in another section, namely the Executive Summary Data Drive Test which includes FTP DL / UL, Browsing, Capacity DL, Capacity UL, SpeedTest, Ping Test, Youtube, Whatsapp Call, Whatsapp Message. For the Executive Summary Voice & SMS Drive Test which includes SMS Onnet and Voice Call. To complete the results of telecommunications network analysis with the drive test method, the author also explained Radio Technology that has been plotted on the map, Radio Technology Distribution in all technologies, Signal Strength & Signal Quality and badspot analysis to make it easier to find out the Quality of Service (QoS) of telecommunications networks in Denpasar City. Perkembangan teknologi infomasi dan telekomunikasi berkembang secara cepat dari generasi ke generasi. Perkembangan teknologi telekomunikasi memiliki kemampuan transmisi yang besar terutama dalam hal kecepatan download dan upload, karena banyaknya keinginan masyarakat akan kualitas jaringan dari provider yang dapat digunakan dengan lancar dan cepat, hal ini dimanfaatkan perusahaan telekomunikasi membangun Internet Service Provider (ISP) yang lebih cepat. Adanya perbedaan kualitas jaringan pada antar provider yang memicu untuk melakukan pengujian kualitas jaringan telekomunikasi dengan melakukan pengukuran dengan metode drive test. Drive test merupakan salah satu bagian pekerjaan dalam optimasi jaringan radio atau seluler. Drive test bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan informasi jaringan secara real dilapangan. Drive test semakin mudah diterapkan dan dapat diterapkan didalam sebuah materi baru untuk dunia pelatihan khususnya yang menekuni bidang telekomunikasi. Sejalan kemajuannya teknologi, drive test dapat diterapkan dengan lebih mudah yaitu menggunakan perangkat Rohde&Scwarz yaitu FreeRider4 / FR-4 yang memiliki keunggulan multi perangkat dan multi teknologi yang secara portable serta di lengkapi dengan unit pengontrol tablet yang digunakan untuk mengelola semua pengujian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalsis Quality Of Service (QoS) jaringan telekomunikasi menggunakan metode drive test menggunakan perangkat Rohde&Scwarz yaitu FreeRider4 / FR-4 pada wilayah Kota Denpasar. Penelitian melakukan pengukuran dan pengamatan serta analisa terhadap kualitas jaringan telekomunikasi 2G,3G,4G untuk seluruh operator telekomunikasi dengan menggunakan aplikasi dari merk Rohde&Scwarz. Untuk proses pengambilan data lapangan menggunakan aplikasi Qualipoc, pada tahap processing data menggunakan aplikasi SmartAnalitics untuk mememproses data tersebut menjadi data yang dapat di Analisa. Untuk memonitoring proses pengambilan data lapangan, Penulis menggunakan aplikasi SmartMonitor. Untuk dapat menampilkan visualisasi hasil data pengukuran dan setelah proses analisa, penulis menggunakan aplikasi Mapinfo. Hasil penelitian diantaranya dapat menunjukan Executive Summary Condition Drive Test yang meliputi nilai Coverage dan Quality, pada bagian lain nya yaitu Executive Summary Data Drive Test yang meliputi FTP DL/UL, Browsing, Capacity DL, Capacity UL, SpeedTest, Ping Test, Youtube, Whatsapp Call, Whatsapp Message. Untuk bagian Executive Summary Voice & SMS Drive Test yang meliputi SMS Onnet serta Voice Call. Untuk memperlengkap hasil analisa jaringan telekomunikasi dengan metode drive test, penulis juga memaparkan Radio Technology yang telah di plot di dalam peta, Radio Technology Distribution di semua teknologi, Signal Strength & Signal Quality serta analisa badspot agar mempermudah mengetahui Quality Of Service (QoS) jaringan telekomunikasi wilayah Kota Denpasar.
