Abstract

ABSTRACT This study discusses the self-image of President Joko Widodo according to netizens in the contents of the uploaded vlog via Joko Widodo's youtube account. The purpose of this study is to find out the self-image of President Joko Widodo according to netizens in the contents of the vlog uploaded through Joko Widodo's youtube account. This research uses descriptive content analysis research type to describe in detail the contents of 20 Joko Widodo vlogs. The method used is the method of content analysis with quantitative analysis approach. Content analysis is a research technique done objectively, systematically, and quantitative description of the content of communication, in this case the contents of 20 vlogs uploaded through youtube account Joko Widodo. The results showed the video posted in Joko Widodo's vlog for the period 4 February 2017 to 3 March 2018 according to Joko Widodo's Image Categorization according to netizens, there were 9 videos or 45% positive comments, 3 or 20% negative comments, 8 or 35% neutral. In the discussion based on the categorization of the nature of the message and its types, it shows that 75% of positive comments from netizens, while netizen's negative comments were 25%. The number of positive comments of netizen to vlog Joko Widodo it can be concluded that the image of President Joko Widodo in the eyes of netizen "good" which means that vlog Joko Widodo can run a good communication function, namely as a medium of public communication, between leaders and the community he leads. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas citra diri Presiden Joko Widodo menurut netizen dalam isi vlog yang diunggah melalui akun youtube Joko Widodo. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui citra diri Presiden Joko Widodo menurut netizen dalam isi vlog yang diunggah melalui akun youtube Joko Widodo. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian analisis isi deskriptifuntuk menggambarkan secara detail isi 20 vlog Joko Widodo. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis isi dengan pendekatan analisis kuantitatif.Analisis isi merupakan teknik penelitian yang dilakukan secara objektif, sistematis, dan deskripsi kuantitatif dari isi komunikasi, dalam hal ini isi 20 vlog yang diunggah melalui akun youtube Joko Widodo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video yang diposting dalam vlog Joko Widodo periode 4 Februari 2017 sampai dengan 3 Maret 2018 sesuai Kategorisasi Citra Joko Widodo menurut netizen, ada 9 video atau 45% komentar positif, 3 atau 20% komentar negatif, 8 atau 35% netral menandakan bahwa youtube Joko Widodo dalam menampilkan setiap Video Blog atau Vlognya selalu memberikan penjelasan dan saran yang menginspirasi para penonton youtube Joko Widodo. Pembahasan berdasarkan kategorisasi sifat pesan dan jenis-jenisnya menunjukkan bahwa 75% komentar positif dari netizen,sedangkan komentar negatif netizen 25%. Banyaknya komentar positif netizen terhadap vlog Joko Widodo itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa citra Presiden Joko Widodo di mata netizen “baik” yang berarti bahwa vlog Joko Widodo dapat menjalankan fungsi komunikasi dengan baik, yaitu sebagai media komunikasi publik, antara pemimpin dan masyarakat yang dipimpinnya. Kata Kunci: komentar netizen, strategi, pembentukan, vlog, citra.
