Abstract
Air conditioning pack is part of the air conditioning system that functions to change bleed air with a temperature of 200 oC into conditioned air with a temperature of 15oC. Based on data reported by the Boeing 737-800 pilot of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk, there were 648 failures of the air conditioning pack in the period January 1, 2017 - December 31, 2019. These failures hampered aircraft operations due to the need for additional time to ratify and repair unscheduled maintenance so that cause delays. To reduce losses caused by this, it is necessary to make a maintenance interval using the Weibull distribution so that the reliability value of the air conditioning pack component can be maintained so that delay costs can be minimized. In this study using the Pareto and fishbone diagram method to determine the cause of failure, life data analysis using the Weibull distribution to determine component reliability, and cost analysis to determine the optimum cost. After doing the research, it is known that the cause of the failure of the air conditioning pack which causes the highest delay cost is the failure of the temperature control valve caused by the bad contact actuator. In order to minimize failure, it is necessary to carry out a special inspection to measure the resistance in the temperature control valve. After calculating the optimum cost between delay cost and maintenance cost, the inspection interval is set at 1000 flight hours, so as to reduce the cost by $ 60,014 Keyword : air conditioning pack, Weibull distribution, reliability analysis, delay cost Air conditioning pack merupakan bagian dari air conditioning system yang berfungsi untuk merubah bleed air yang bersuhu 200oC menjadi conditioned air yang bersuhu 15oC. Berdasarkan data yang dilaporkan oleh pilot Boeing 737-800 PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk, terdapat 648 kegagalan air conditioning pack dalam rentang waktu 1 Januari 2017 - 31 Desember 2019. Kegagalan tersebut menghambat operasional pesawat dikarenakan perlunya waktu tambah untuk melakukan ratifikasi dan perbaikan pada perbaikan tidak terjadwal sehingga menyebabkan delay. Untuk mengurangi kerugian yang disebabkan hal tersebut, diperlukan pembuatan interval perawatan menggunakan distribusi weibull agar nilai reliability komponen air conditioning pack dapat terjaga sehingga delay cost dapat diminimalisir. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode diagram pareto dan fishbone untuk menentukan penyebab kegagalan, life data analysis menggunakan distribusi Weibull untuk mementukan reliability komponen, dan analisis biaya untuk menentukan biaya optimum. Setelah dilakukan penelitian, maka diketahui penyebab kegagalan air conditioning pack yang menimbulkan biaya akibat delay paling tinggi adalah kegagalan temperature control valve yang disebabkan oleh actuator bad contact. Untuk dapat meminimalisir kegagalan perlu dilakukan special inspection untuk mengukur resistansi pada yang terdapat pada temperature control valve. Setelah melakukan perhitungan mengenai biaya optimum antara biaya akibat delay dan biaya maintenance maka ditetapkan interval inspeksi pada 1000 flight hours, sehingga dapat mengurangi biaya sebesar $ 60.014 Kata kunci : air conditioning pack, distribusi weibull, analisis reliability, delay cost
